Did Harbaugh promise him the starting spot?

It'll be a competition, but I expect Shea to easily win it. Peters is just an average QB.

If he was there this past game it would have been more than feasible

Hmm...

The people, teammates and coaches must not have been all that wonderful.

Was not that special of a place. And the memories weren't really that great.

He must be really excited to be leaving Ole Miss.

Congrats and best of luck at Michigan.

What? Easy now.. I thought it was worth it? Are you starting to change your attitude? Dang this two year probation might have been effective afterall.
Still worth it. Doesn't mean I have to be ok with Shea recruiting our players

Good. So now he will suck at michigan. He is very overrated. He peaked in high school.

Doubt it is Peters he has to worry about. Dylan McCaffrey was redshirted this year and would probably be his biggest competition. McCaffrey has better measurables and a better pedigree, but Shea has more experience and is more elusive. If he had left the right way, I'd be rooting for him to succeed, but the way he recruited other players and the way his family went about things, I'm rooting for him to become Mitch Mustain 2.0. That said, he's very talented and could finally make Michigan a threat to Ohio State.

Yes Shea has to sit this next year and will then have 2 to play 2 in 2019 and 2020.

I agree he'll be a stud, but he needs time to bulk up. He's a toothpick right now. This gives him another year to be ready. It's a win, win for UM.

Wonder what Coach Khaki's excuse will be now that he has his QB?

Patterson screwed the pooch on this one. Transferred to a school where all signs point to him having to sit next year while McCaffrey is groomed for the job Patterson wants. In 2019, McCaffrey will be entrenched as the starter and Shea will have only D2 left to bail his arse out.

Shea is not going to have to sit out a year. It will be waived.

The NCAA would be setting a pretty big precedent if they waived his sit-out year.
