Kek. I told y'all Leach will be a disaster at MSU. He was a terrible recruiter before this, somehow he'll now be even worse.

You're 100% right Uncle Shannon. All of the black MS State players should be jumping ship to Jackson State, Alcorn State & MS Valley State. Leave Leach to play Captain Hook with himself.

Well I believe you. After all you said Moorhead was safe.

Leach's tweet had nothing to do with racism, Shannon Sharpe needs to raise his TV ratings another way.

At least Shannon probably believes what he's saying. Skip is just straight pandering to not risk losing his job. Really sickening.

Shannon Sharpe is a fricking idiot. Prime example of a brain damaged athlete who would’ve been a career McDonald’s worker if he wasn’t born with the ability to jump high.
It’s a shame that his idiotic views have such a big platform, I’m truly excited to see Mike Leach coach in the SEC and it’s a shame that his tenure may be cut short due to dumb frickheads like Shannon Sharpe

What the hell does that have to do with anything? This is almost as stupid as a Shannon Sharpe statement.

I imagine that many African Americans who fought to right actual wrongs would laugh their arse off at what people in this day and time consider racism.
Well many of those African-Americans who fought "actual wrongs" are still here today and they seem to be leading the fight against what many white southerners don't consider to be "actual racism" (See John Lewis, Jesse Jackson, etc).

quote:It's not racist until someone thinks it is...it's not offensive until it offends someone...it's funny until someone finds it not funny....it's word games....if you think it's funny it is to you alone and someone someone else may think it's not... both are right...if you do not think it's offensive but someone else thinks it is...then you are both right....that's what people do not understand...it is subjective to each individual much like opinions...neither can be wrong because it's personal...so...it was racist..intended or not.
Just because someone claims something is racist doesn't mean it had racist intent.

Those you listed and most of the ones still alive today were teenagers and early 20s at the time of the civil rights movement and have capitalized off of their involvement by being "professionally offended".
I'm talking about people like MLK Jr. and Medgar Evers.
