I don’t mind kids getting a ring for winning the conference, winning a super regional in baseball, or making a final four in basketball. All accomplishments that those players should be proud of and having a ring to memorialize it doesn’t bother me at all.

college teams seemingly give out rings for basically everything now. It's dumb but not unique to Arkansas baseball. I remember Ole Miss giving out Peach Bowl participation rings the year they got blown out. "Achievement" rings jumped the shark a long time ago. Probably why you see so many of them for sale on ebay.

As many times as they have been, this surprises me.
Seems like a waste of money to me but whatever. No idea why they'd peacock something like this. The ring looks nice but it's ultimately lame.
