Yeah Delpit could definitely be better than Thompson.

They're without question in the same class, though. Which tells you how good Thompson is.

You'll see tomorrow. I say that because Thomson is a guy that JUMPS off the screen as a great player.

Doesn’t seem like they’re getting better...

Hmmmmm

since you want to trash talk in what was started as a non trash talking thread, I would note that your qb has thrown 0 tds and 3 interceptions in October so I guess it's a wash.

Oh shite, I didnt know that. I was wondering why we havent been hearing a big name at LB like the previous 10 years. So is inexperience the communication problem at LB?

That's because you're looking at the month total and not game by game.

We did make Chryst look like a Heisman candidate when he came in to relieve Guarantano. But here are the QBR numbers game by game. You tell us.

Using ESPN's 100 point QBR stat:

Story, Ark...22.7
Lock, Mizzou...8.2
Guarantano, Tenn...3.5
Chryst, Tenn...94.2

Thats how Delpit is. People that dont watch LSU always refer to Delpit. Indeed in the same class. Hard call because i have not watched a lot of Thompson

Let me ask this, and keep in mind Im being civil and just asking questions. Do these numbers look like this becasue Guarantano is poo water or did Chryst do somethings that Bama hadnt schemed for?

I forgot to mention..

He probably shouldn't be playing and is most likely a really bad person.

They definitely won't be tested by your qb. Unless you think 0 td's and 3 int's in October is elite.

Biggest difference I have seen in Delpit and Thompson is the turnovers. Delpit with 5 int's and Thompson with 2 total and 0 in the last 5 games.

Chryst came in at like 28-0.

I'll allow every opposing QB to shite all over Alabama's secondary if the score is 28-0.

Turnovers come and go and can't really be predicted.

5 to 2 means almost nothing.

Yea I figured he came in just before halftime

So you think it was just garbage time stats? Not directly anything he was doing or Bama wasnt doing

Talented but Savion Smith can be had. Reason he got passed up by greedy Williams, Kary Vincent, and Kristian Fulton. Before being kicked off the team for failed drug tests. He is physical but doesnt have elite quickness or speed and gambles. Not a good combo.

Surtain is as advertised. But still a freshman. Getting better each game it seems.

Thompson is a NFL talent. Really the only player in the secondary that I who have concerns about.

Let's be real.

He probably did SOMETHING.

I'm not fully read up on the situation but wasn't he, at the least, RIGHT THERE while a guy was getting beat to shite and robbed?
