It wouldn’t necessarily screw the rest of the conference up for A&M to work out playing Texas on “rivalry weekend”. Georgia works it out with Ga Tech, Florida with FSU, South Carolina with Clemson, UK with Louisville.....etc.... If y’all wanted to do it the rest of the conference would accommodate one of our members. Y’all are family now regardless of the trolling y’all get.

You might want to give that picture some context for the Ags since their last appearance in a conference championship game will be old enough to drink this year.

The Volunteers have only played us 3 times, winning 2 and losing 1.

So you’re saying both UT’s own Tamu? Got it.

Here has been your home schedule since we joined the SEC. (I removed non-Power 5 schools)

Ole Miss
Notre Dame
USC
Maryland
California
West Virginia x4
Baylor x4
Iowa State x4
TCU x4
Kansas State x3
Kansas x3
Oklahoma State x3
Texas Tech x3

Now compare that to:

LSU x4
Alabama x3
Auburn x3
Ole Miss x3
Mississippi State x3
South Carolina x2
Missouri x2
Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Clemson
UCLA
Arkansas

Didn't all but one of those matchups require the state legislature FORCING the non-SEC school to comply?

Congrats on all of those celebrated losses.

As we learned in 2018, nobody can stack up impressive losses quite like those Fightin' Texas Aggies!

Says an East Carolina Fan? Do Ags inundate a big12 board? Where is the big12 board?

You played 4 games vs. Power 5 opponents out of conference at home between 2012-2018. 6 if you include Notre Dame and BYU. You won 1. (2 if you include Notre Dame and BYU)

Which is why I thought it was an odd stance for you to take considering A&M hadn't been that much better.

But please, continue on your informative rant about how Texas is: broke, not selling tickets, not building new facilities, and whatever else you've presented without any data

Really? A&M didn't lose a single nonconference home game...of ANY KIND from September 2008 (Miami) - September 2018 (Clemson).

I mean... can you blame us when y'all make it this easy?

Trolling aside, I understand A&M's position in not wanting to play this game. There are a lot of politics and money involved, and both A&M and Texas have taken the opportunity to schedule very ambitiously in the next 10 years against teams they don't normally get to play.

These roadblocks don't really exist in the other sports, which is why the two can still play each other in baseball, basketball, volleyball, etc.

It's just funny when one team talks about the other needing them when both teams generate more revenue than any other school in the sport (Texas fans say the "they need us, we don't need them" shite on their boards too and it sounds just as ridiculous and petty).

I'm a fan of the game returning, but unless both teams want it at the same time, and unless they can come to an agreement of it being a yearly thing instead of some weak-arse home & home every 10 years or neutral site game (which both teams already have), then there's no point in renewing it.

That said, don't be naive enough to not expect to hear this as a topic of discussion during every off season. It's nauseating.

Here's to hoping the next time the two teams play, it'll be of significance in a bowl or something. Bias aside, only a fool would fail to concede that A&M is on the come up and set up for a good run more than they have been in at least 20 years

I remember hearing this from aggies about LSU from 1996 until 2010. And I mean, aggies were saying they would refuse to even go to a bowl game against LSU.
