Tua is a top 3 QB in college and should have a great NFL career, but that offense with Mac Jones has won Saban a lot of rings. When you have 3 NFL caliber WRs, all you really need is a QB that can get them the ball accurately.

I saw on the score board some varying opinions. So now with more time removed from the game, has your opinion changed?

For the record as an LSU fan I would rather face Mac than Tua but as a college football fan I really badly want to see Burrow vs Tua.

No.

Tua could’ve had 500 and five TDs easy on that defense. They were awful.

Arkansas is one of the worst teams in college football.

No Arkansas is basically an FCS team right now.

It was fricking Arkansas. Alabama could have put up 100 with healthy Tua if they wanted to.

We scored 41 in 1 half with a backup QB running a very conservative version of our offense

Nope, I've always thought Tua's receivers make him look better than he is.

We made a WR playing as an emergency QB look good. I would hold off on anointing Mac Jones as the second coming of Kenny Stabler.

I find it weird Jalen Hurts had those same receivers plus Calvin Ridley and couldn’t do shite

No.

1) Arkansas sucks.

2) Mac is good enough to beat most of the teams on the schedule this year, and in some years where the defense was better, maybe all of them. This year, Tua will be the difference maker if Bama is going to be able to run the table through the regular season.

fricking Bama fans

It was the same plays they run with Tua.

Receivers made plays - just like they do when Tua is in the game. They carried Jones just like they carry Tua.

No.

I don't think any of us are under the impression that Tua would have the same numbers with shitty WR's. But, that doesn't mean he isn't very, very good.

VOLS shut down Mac Jones. Just because Mac had success against a MAC program doesn’t mean Tua is a system QB

It absolutely wasn't at all. The majority of our offense the first 4-5 drives were pop passes and swing passes. I think we ran 1 RPO slant pass.

Mac played a very solid game and did what a solid backup should do.

Tuna is a system QB.

Though I expect him to shine in the XFL.
