The correct answer is that he wanted to graduate from college. He knows that 3 years is the average life span of a running back and wanted a way to make a living after the nfl.

At least there's one bama fan on this board that doesn't have his head in the sand.

You can always go and do that. Most schools encourage and pay for it. You won't ever be 21 again.

People have different outlooks, goals and desires...stop making them out to be what YOU think they should be.
Again, what does this have to do with supporting his family?
Kids go to school to get a job and earn money to support their family, correct?

Kids all over the country rarely do the same thing when they're being talked about in regards to being high draft picks.
Didn't two Clemson Dlinemen come back last year when there were projected as 1st round picks?

I know this was a weak troll attempt, but did it ever occur to anybody that these are still kids being pulled in multiple directions?
Jacobs has spent most of his Bama career injured. Hes having a breakout season. He’s a stud player and he will likely be projected in the first or second round. He’ll leave. And I support that.
This constant banging of the “Cheatin’ Bammers” drum is ridiculous.
When you win multiple titles, are on TV for every game, have the best facilities, the most NFL draft picks, etc, you don’t have to pay kids $200,000 to come to your school. Bama gets spurned by one 5 star, there’s another one who will come.
It’s rich that Auburn, one of the most penalized schools in NCAA history, is constantly banging this drum.

I couldn't help but notice the huge diamond earrings in the homeless kids ears.

How does a kid with the talent a skillset of Jacobs, at a position like RB which we all know has a limited shelf life, not declare for the draft if he's projected to go in the 2nd round?
We are all pretty sure he is going to declare

There are gas stations around here with pretty damn real looking fake diamond earrings for like 3 bucks.

That's right, which is play football eventually for a living. So why would you not do it?
The talk the other night was about Jacobs coming back...

Hahaha... is everybody's goal in life not to make money to support their family or to improve their quality of life? Especially if you're from a poor enviornment? To assume different is asanine. Don't play dumb.

They did. And one has hurt himself in doing so. You're making my point.

I don't really understand the point here - most folks expect him to leave.

None of Alabama would players have declared yet and likely won’t until after Monday
Posted on 1/3/19 at 10:06 am to WDE01
Has the deadline to declare for the draft passed? Plus those were CZ.

The point is for WDE01 to insinuate that Alabama is paying players or otherwise holding them hostage from making free decisions about going into the NFL draft.

They’re talking about Devin White returning as well. It’s talk no one knows anything yet.
