The goalpost has moved again, progress.
Always accusing others of doing the thing you are most guilty of.
I imagine that Whoever taught you that has no clue about advanced football concepts such as “running clock with big leads”, which explains why you don’t understand the concepts.
Anyways, The numbers from that previous post came from the UGA/VOL game when Uga Finished the final 21 minutes of the game with 16 runs and 1 pass.
That’s what early game domination leads to, a complete change in strategy.
Uga simply traded touchdowns for ball control clock killing drives.

A debunked myth.
So...are you sayiing Stetson Bennett threw passes in the next to last possession in all but 1 or 2 games last season?
Is that what you are saying? because I noticed you slyly said Georgia, and we all know that Bennett is the subject of this conversation.

An injury cost Hooker a Heisman, UGA being the number 1 team (because of its defensive front 7 and weak schedule) got Bennet a spot he didn’t earn or deserve.
Sagarin shows Georgia with the #12 SOS last year. Tennessee? #27.

And I would say a QB with no talent around him on offense throwing for 4,000+ yards (More than any Tennessee QB ever) did deserve the call.

If the injury is the main reason Ty Simpson had a poor showing during the A-Day game then that means he might still start.

Look at the regular schedule.
Oregon 9-3 (1st time HC, new QB)
Samford
UofSC (they needed 2 huge upsets to get to 8-4
Kent
Mizzou 6-6
Auburn 5-7
Vandy 5-7
Florida 6-6
Vols 10-2
State 8-4
Kentucky 7-5
GaTech 5-7
Played 1 10 win team, got Oregon basically at home building a new team, Auburn and Florida were just terrible, missed LSU and Bama(again) in the regular season, get a GaTech that hasn’t cared about football in a couple of decades.
Basically you did what folks make fun of Clemson for, played 1 real game and coasted into the playoffs, the difference is you got your miracle in beating tOSU and beat Cinderella for a title.

This dude hates UGA so much, and constantly gets owned in his own threads, it hilarious to watch. I swear with his hatred for UGA, that an entire fraternity house from UGA must be running a train on this guys wife.

Teams that lose to South Carolina by 157 points don't get to talk about national championships, them's the rules.

Every game goes into SOS, which is rather inconvenient for your terrible takes.
But since you don’t understand simple in game strategies such a “run down the clock”, you might not understand SOS.

Georgia is so good that it makes all of the teams look bad.
That is smokey's point.

Why regular schedule? We played al the games and we won all the games, did we not? We played a tougher slate of games than Tennessee did by far. #12 verses #27. We won all of our games. How did UT do?
And try not to forget that one of those teams that we beat easily put a beat down on Tennessee.
So, if Tennessee played such a tough schedule, point out the team that y'all played that made it so much tougher than our schedule.

missed LSU

Bama(again)

Must be sad that South Carolina beat your team like a drum and then you have to come on here and try to say they were not a good team.

Smokeyone predictably ran from this relevant question.

The jury is still out but this upcoming season can't be any worse than the last two.

UGA controls its regular schedule…. You understand that right? Like it’s simple and obvious but I feel like I need to ask in this case. Because the statement was an easy/fortuitous schedule. And UGA has control of its regular schedule.

Find the thread were I debunked this, I listed Bennetts 3rd and 4th qrt throws and the very rare occurrence when a different QB was allowed a series or 2.

If you listed the number of 4th q throws, and you didn’t because you know what they show, you would have debunked yourself.

Then do the leg work like I did. The primary source data is readily accessible and it’s free (you don’t have to ask your grandma for subscription money, I know she cut you off years ago and you don’t have a 247uga subscription anymore)

Winning the big 12 is not an achievement. Doing it in the SEC is

Here are 8 of the games:
SC: 0
Samford: 0
Oregon: 0
Vandy: 0
UK: 0
LSU: 0
TCU: 0
UT: 1
One 4th Q pass attempt by Stetson in these 8 games.
