I will be at Alabama next year. Getting all of my main classes out of the way at a community college here in town first. Then I will be transferring. And I'll be the first in my family to have the opportunity to graduate from Alabama

B.F.A. from L.S.U. in 82.

L.S.U. didn't have the major or even any classes in the subject I was interested in, (Film Production) but I wanted that L.S.U degree and Tiger Band experience. Was a sportswriter for a year. Learned photography while working at the paper, (Slidell Daily Times) then started my own photography business in 84. Have been doing that ever since. Still at it, but have cut way back and am almost in the semi-retired state at 53. Still using traditional film (medium format)which all of my clients request and prefer.

Still toying with the idea of going back to school for an M.F.A. so I could teach in college, but UWF in Pensacola doesn't offer a Masters in my field. The thought of moving back to Louisiana and having to spend another two years in Baton Rouge to attend Grad School at L.S.U. was unacceptable. We'll probably relocate to Tampa/Orlando in a few years (Huge mistake moving to Pensacola) and maybe additional schooling will happen then, but I'm not a Spring Chicken any longer so who knows......
