Yes, I do think the pendulum will swing back. Not all the way back to amateurism but at least to set, agreed apon rules
Agreed upon by whom and how do you set that up to avoid the inevitable lawsuits?

That’s the issue here.

If it was that simple, it would have been reined in already.

No one knows how to fix this.

The conferences are trying to do what the NCAA cannot do. I know yall are upset...but you have to see that this is what is happening. There is going to be action in Congress eventually

I know, I have been saying the exact same thing.

I legitimately don’t care one way or another.

College football died for me with the transfers and monetary payments.

I think this whole situation is fascinating.

And most of those ideas would die in the courts.

Texas has already ruined two conferences. Now you're going to take shots at LSU? Try beating Ohio St. for once like the rest of the SEC has.

they called it “lack of institutional control.”

What? You are an Auburn fan.

Look, unlike almost everyone else in this discussion, I’m not taking sides or defending one side over the other. All I was doing was simply answering the question of what the SEC was basing all of this on. Well, considering they spelled out their thoughts in their amendment, I’d say they’re claiming lack of institutional control for whatever is coming.

So, if you’re expecting me to defend the SEC’s contention of “lack of institutional control” as the basis for expelling LSU, then you’re going to be sorely disappointed.
