I am guessing this is a troll but here are some answers
And yet many SEC teams are in the Top 20 in attendance every year and the Vols are tops in attendance. Some go onto careers as models so there must be a viable market for tall women to sell stuff.
So you should have seen the feisty point guard at work and if you attend an Auburn game this year Katie does not look like Schwartznegger
That is your issue
Seems like this issue had to deal with your childhood issues. Seek professional help if you really are having trouble with this.
As for the Final Four, I have attended in a year the Vols were not there but they still had the biggest group of fans in the stands. I had a great time and the crowd was very nice.
Again, you are probably trolling but if you are 23 you may someday spawn. Probability is just as high that you have girls as you will boys. These girls may wind up playing sports and the very sports they play may allow them to go to college for free. Sports amy also open doors that may have otherwise been closed. I don't hate women's hoops but I do think it would be 100x better if they lowered the nets. It would allow for easier layups, common dunking and just a more enjoyable game..... If only they would do this just like..... in every other women's sport.
-If the nets in women's volleyball were the same height as the men's, we'd never see a spike
-If the field was the same size in baseball as in softball, we'd never see a home run
-If the tees were the same distance in golf, we'd see scores go up astronomically
Why does basketball continue this fantasy that women are the same physically as men? Evey other womnen's sport that swallows their pride and admits it and adjust to it reaps huge rewards in return.

Not sure but part of it may have to do with the fact women can dunk. Granted, the numbers are smaller but the outliers confirm it can be done. My guess is the powers that be feel more women will be able to dunk in the next decade and it will self correct.
On the men's side there was discussion at one time of raising the height of the rim just because dunking had become so common. If everybody can dunk then dunking becomes a bit more ho hum. Granted I am not a fan as it is streetball gameplay, but the game has become what it is. The original peach basket was nailed at 10 feet in 1891. That height is still the same over 100 years later even though the bodies playing have grown in both size and jumping ability.
I would say leave the women at 10 feet, and raise the men to 11 feet.

I think because most of the points scored in hoops are from shooting distance shots, not dunks?

I dunno, I kinda like your idea, though. Don't they already have a shorter distance for 3 point shots in women's hoops? No way it'd happen now, but I'm curious as to whether lowering the goals was ever seriously considered at the organized level.

NCAA women close to 20 feet
NCAA men close to 21 feet
NBA = 22 feet to almost 24 feet at the arc
Interesting is the free throw line is the same for all games. Since historically the women have shot better percentages from the free throw line would you support moving the free throw line back for the men?
The better analogy may be to view the current women's game as the men's game from the 50's or 60's and look at how much bigger the men have gotten in that 50 or 60 years. In a similar period of growth and conditioning the women will get taller and stronger. Griner is 6' 8" and about 195 lbs - Imagine in a generation or 2 when you have a woman playing at 7 feet and weighing in around 225 - 250 lbs.

Dunking in the women's game is currently limited to the freak athletes, ie. the best of the best. While for the men of even average height, just about every high schooler can dunk if he spends a week or two practicing it thoroughly.

i could never dunk in high school. but then again I was 6 foot and 140 pounds playing in a public school league....

Not disagreeing with this comment, just saying it will self correct in next 10 - 20 years. What is the percentage of guys who could dunk in the 1950's vs now?

I know it's en vogue to hate on women's hoops, but I'm not one of them. If you're a fan of the game, most women's teams are more technically sound than men's. Not as sexy (pardon the pun), but sound team basketball.
Women's college basketball (and women's basketball in general) is terrible. It's a completely different game.

I am glad they do not dunk. Unlike the men they actually have to practice shooting. Men's basketball is unwatchable. Dunk dunk dunk. I am tall so I dunk. Congrats.

I question if you've ever actually watched men's college basketball if you think it's all dunking.
