LSU has beaten the brakes off UGA 3 out of the last 4 games in 10 years.
LSU has 3 nattys in the last 20 years.
The last time UGA finished a season ranked number 1 Pink Floyd's album The Wall was number 1 as well.

Nothing like living in the past. Unfortunately LSU is going to have to live off it for a very long time.

I’m taking the team with the most talent in the entire country. Not a team facing major NCAA trouble

So looking at last 2 years..

2020- SEC would have gotten - 4 , Bama, TXAM, UF, & UGA. UCinn and Coastal would have gotten in. Only the Top 12 would have made it.

2019- SEC would have - 3, LSU, UGA, UF.
#12 Auburn would have been left out for #17 Memphis.

Problem is it literally says 6 highest ranked conference winners and then the highest ranked remaining teams. There is almost always 3-4 other top 12 SEC teams besides the conference champ.

They can’t justify skipping over those for say a #14 10-2 UCLA unless they specifically write in a cap of number of teams per conference. If rankings are say

1. Alabama (CC)
2. Clemson (CC)
3. Georgia
4. Oklahoma (CC)
5. Ohio State (CC)
6. Notre Dame
7. Florida
8. Oregon (CC)
9. LSU
10. UCF (CC)
11. Texas
12. Auburn

Then the SEC gets 5 teams based on their criteria. Now this is not always gonna happen but 4 teams will almost always be in the hunt with 5 teams possible if you look at past rankings. But all 6 conference champs will have to be top 12.

If any champs are outside the top 12 then you’ll only see 3 SEC teams maybe 4 tops

And it will a watered down title, won by teams that couldn’t win their division much less their conference.

Playoffs spots should strive to be exclusionary instead of inclusive. Earned like a paycheck instead of given like a welfare check.

Lol why view Florida and Georgia as perennially better than LSU? Recently we’ve beat both and we’re in the playoffs more recently than either

More to do with being in the East

FYI. Georgia has the most talented team in the country. The best college town in the nation and a gorgeous campus with world class facilities. LSU has a rusty old stadium, a buffoon for a coach and a truckload of trouble headed your way.

All 4 of those are getting in without question

What metric are you using to determine this exactly?

It was not my determination. It came from 247 sports among others.

When was the last time a 4 seed beat a 1 seed?

2014 OSU-Alabama?

12 teams is such a waste... going to be odd to imagine a 10 seed Texas A&M beating another juggernaut no. 1 Alabama squad.

well youre certainly asserting it like it is. recruiting rankings dont back it up. on the field results dont back it up. individual player awards dont back it up. why spout that shite if you dont believe it?

I didn’t conduct this poll or the others. I’m only reporting the results. And Georgias and Bamas recruiting is year in and year out the best in the country. And now the experts have determined that UGAs talent has passed Bamas.
I do believe it, jiffy. I’ve seen it for myself from
my seat inside Sanford Stadium. Georgia has made huge strides - improving year after year and now the sky is the limit. It doesn’t matter if some refuse to believe the experts. We know what we’ve got and soon others are going to know it too.
