Dude - this is the whole reason they are wanting to expand - to make some other conference money besides the SEC

You will start to see rivalry games moved up in the schedule because some teams will rest their starters the last game if they are for sure in.

Let’s say:
Alabama: 13-0, Wins SEC
Florida: 12-1, Loses SEC championship to Bama
Georgia: 11-1, loss to Florida
LSU: 11-1, loss to Bama
All 4 of those are getting in without question

That’s mostly because the SEC has run away with recruiting and revenue since Urban/Saban showed up. It’s not all geography (ACC and B12 pipeline the same territory). If the playing field is leveled a bit I predict teams outside of the SEC that can get exposure and bucks can improve their competitive standing. Saban et al won’t be around forever (...I think)

How many years have 4 SEC teams gone into bowl season with 0 or 1 losses in the last 20 years?

Just like all the team who can't make the top 4, there will always be people crying for more so they can at least say they had a shot.
Plus with this opt-out craze in the lesser bowl games, maybe these CEOs think it is another way to generate interest and keep those guys playing.

Sure, it's possible. I just think that in general people aren't grasping that this entire expansion is based around engaging more of the country. The SEC will probably get, on average, 3 teams a year would be my guess. 3 most years 2 some years and 4 some years.
People are going to flip the fvck out when 10-2 UCLA gets left out for 9-4 Florida, though. Or when 11-1 Tulsa or Coastal Carolina gets left out for 9-3 Auburn. I just think that there is going to be an unwritten cap on teams from a league (specifically this league), and the argument is going to be "they barely broke .500 in their league they can't be national champs".

One freak year does not make a dynasty. Your once in a generation QB is gone and he’s not coming back. Unless UF continues to fling shoes into the foggy night I wouldn’t count on much success in the coming years

If you thought the whining was annoying before this new playoff system was announced, just wait until the final 8 has 5-6 SEC teams competing. The new playoff system is only going to further demonstrate the superiority of the SEC

I think you are going to see some interesting polls once this is implemented, and several SEC teams that are better than teams from other conferences aren't going to poll as high, to keep them out of the playoff picture and get teams with more juice in.

Also SOG my bad I just realized I’m a complete idiot because UF plays LSU every year so UF cant go undefeated in the regular season if LSU only loses to Bama.

Georgia is not losing any sleep worrying about LSU. The past is past and Georgia now has the best players in the entire country. LSU meanwhile does not - and is dealing with major NCAA distractions. You have to know big time probation and sanctions are coming to BR and that isn’t going to help recruiting or team morale. If y’all were not so full of yourselves I could almost feel sorry for you
