National Championship appearances and Won.

Alabama(6)4
LSU(2) 1
Auburn(2) 1

Only 2014 did not feature a SEC West team in the Championship game.

Every team but Arkansas has appeared in the BCS or CFP's Top 5 at point in this Decade.

Heisman winners

Alabama 2
LSU 1
Auburn 1
Texas A&M 1

Most NFL players drafted from one division and most Top 5 picks selected.

3 Coaches with National Championships and a fourth that coached in one. Chizik has a natty was fired and Miles prior to this decade had a natty and was fired during this period also.

That's a Decade of Domination.

ETA: The Arkansas team was in the BCS Top 5 during the 2011 season. So everyone from the SEC West has aleast one Top 5 appearance in the last decade....apologies Hogs.

Wasn't Arkansas top 5 in 2011? I know they were at some point during the season.

Was that the year that Bama, LSU, and Arkansas were all top 3/4 and all had to play each other right at the end of the year?

The least from the east should be ashamed. It's also kinda sad we can't sit teams like Clemson and Notre Dame in the middle of the West schedule and watch the miracle of SOS do its thing on their playoff chances.

If I recall correctly, going into the Arkansas game in 2011 the rankings were:

1)LSU
2)Bame
3)Arkansas

ETA: here's a link to that AP poll:

Craziest stat:

Ole Miss and Mississippi State were both included in the first ever playoff selection show

I do love how you conveniently chose the year 2009 when Bama started their run with Saban. Why not go to 2000, 2005 or 2010?

It's the last 10 years of completed seasons. Pretty reasonable cutoff point.

I believe he may be excluding the 2009 season from the championship calculation. Otherwise Alabama would have 7 appearances and 5 championships.

2009 (Won)
2011 (Won)
2012 (Won)
2015 (Won)
2016 (Lost)
2017 (Won)
2018 (Lost)

They did finish #6 in the BCS rankings in 2011 and finished top 5 in both the AP and Coaches' polls after the bowl games.

We all love how you just embarrassed yourself by not understanding he did the last 10 years - meaning AFTER 2009.

The simple fact that he shows Bama with 4 national titles instead of 5 (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017) should have clued you in that 2009 wasn't in his numbers.

Sweet, sweet fail.

Even though that star is so 9 years back it offers a fading dim light to the hog fans.

Might want to delete the part about Arkansas not being top this decade because it isn’t true.
