I still have my concerns with Milroe but anyone who watched Saturday's game and came to the immediate conclusion that he's a liability has a lot of bias in their life. Obviously we'll know more on Saturday when we play Texas, but Milroe definitely silenced more than a handful of his critics on Saturday night.

Jalen Milroe threw for 3 TDs and rushed for 2 more. No BAMA QB has ever accomplished that. Jalen did it in only 2.5 quarters of football. Good he is only mortal.

I was speaking of the rest of the team. He’s for real. Yes.

But for comparison A&M’s QB threw for 5 TDs and was 18 for 23. Two of those were spikes to stop the clock. As far as QBR, Jaylen, record setting aside, was second behind Connor.

But he’s awesome. That’s your point. True.

We don’t know that for sure we have to wait til sec play because while there are a lot of questions for LSU is it LSU is really bad or is FSU just that good.

Middle Tennessee has a good team and they were super aggressive, which is their style. Milroe was destroying them with the long ball.

I was very impressed with Jalen staying in the pocket all night. He was in no hurry to run but kept his focus downfield. But when he does, it's a blur.

No. Last year A&Ms talent was primarily freshman and we had crazy QB injuries.

Miss State is the worst team in the west, probably will not win a game.

Ole Miss offense is very good, Auburn is much improved, Arkansas is much improved. I think Aggie may win it if bAma or LSU don’t.

Speaking of wide-open, we were bent over and open-wide last night.

I know this. I know A&M has NEVER had this high of a talent composite of players that aren’t freshman. Like almost never.

So I truly believe we don’t know what A&M will do.

If Milroe handles the Texas game and makes good decisions I’ll be all in but he still locks in on first receiver and needs to prove himself against a better defense.

No idea what to think of Ole Miss quite yet.

Yeah. We played Mercer but what we find encouraging is how we executed. It was a very clean game with no real issues. Our OL needs to work on opening the run game but our passing game took a leap forward this year. We didn't have good receivers last year and we have some that can play this year. Our D needs to step up too but they played 59 mins of scoreless football so that's a huge leap over last season, even against Mercer level.

This weekend against a very good Tulane team will shine a light on things a bit more.

One thing is for sure, A&M ain't winning shite. Defenses will key in on Wegman and stop the run.

Is that your only concern? BAMA's defense needs to stay fundamentally sound, be aggressive, and play without penalties.

The running game still needs to invoke its will on the defense. The receivers need to keep catching the ball and creating separation.

And then Jalen Milroe will lead them.

You obviously did not watch the game. He was blitzed all night...and made them pay. When defenses blitz there are always mismatches and if the QB is able to read them and react accordingly it usually proves successful.
Granted, his true test will come against Miami. We shall see.

You do realize, they whipped the SEC west champs arse last year. On the field. With a freshman QB. And mostly freshman playing on both sides of the ball.

And that QB is a sophomore as is most of the team. So, it remains to be seen what they will do.

But this team has already proven they can beat LSU.

I know we lost a top talent in DrewSanders, but we also had one of the worst defenses in the country, overall including the worst and pass defense.

Pitman found some key additions in the portal and with a new defensive staff and scheme. We don’t look the same as last year! we got some dudes, unlike the last couple.

Our offense will be great but doubt we put up yards like OM or aTm.

We are the true unknown team in the West
