Jimbo was a great coach at FSU, but he hasn't done anything with A&M to deserve this level of hype.

But Georgia does? What have they done to get hype? They win games and recruit well which Jimbo is doing just like Kirby, Saban, and Ed O, Mullen hasn’t won a title but Florida is very competitive too rn, they deserve hype, and Bama sits at the Top so unless you have a story of dethroning a SEC West in the SECCG, that’s not much too brag about, you guys in the East just finish behind Bama like everyone else, really only LSU and Auburn have the luxury to say they changed that narrative, and made hype reality.
The thing that’s annoying (not directed at you) is some guys cant say there are 4 or 5 good coaches in the SEC rn, and give them all their hype and flowers too, but then again some guys think giving a coach hype or praise is supposed to be at the expense of someone else. You can say, “Jimbo and Mullens are great coaches “, and queue in the snowflake board monitor saying something “You can’t say Jimbo or Mullens is good bc Nick Saban is better” like no shlt lol but it’s also dumb to crap on everyone every day, sign of an unhappy person

He won a championship in the last 10 years at FSU, he is recruiting heads and shoulders above Sumlin, Sherman, Fran, he’s made A&M a contender in the West, trending upward, why are you mad he is getting love from the media? He goes 9-1 and it’s bc everyone sucked, okay cool, let Jimbo be the tallest midget in the room then if you want to say we can only beat midgets

A&M was very average last year. And that’s considered your best season in a long time. Think about that. Only way to go is down.

I means we might be able to sustain consistency annually, not like teams led by Sumlin, Sherman or Fran
I think a lot of people are still holding on to Sumlin’s one year as “they only did it one year and it was hype” but take Johnny away from Sumlin and that year never happens, and Sumlin didn’t recruit well, very too heavy, he’d get you two 5 stars with 20 3 stars, we haven’t been good until now, you don’t know why we are happy? Bc we have been technically enduring college football purgatory starting that started with ONE bad coaching hire, Jimbo is our best bet rn of getting out
I know we say A&M has a lot of money, but we weren’t spending any of it back then I guess bc all those coaches we hired and failed were bargains, until we hired Jimbo we were kinda cheap
