This is no different than LSU @ OM on a Sunday afternoon for a baseball game. If you found a way to watch that you can watch the games this weekend. It is the exact same.

It's time for us to get rid of all these shite warm-up games in major college football.
We only get 12-15 games a year, why make two or more unwatchable?
Everyone else seems to have a preseason game or two. Soccer and volleyball just started up with exhibitions games. NFL has pre-season games. High school football has fall jamborees, or at least we used to. So I don't see anything wrong with some kind of warm up games.

I don't mind it being streamed. At least you don't have to wait for a previous game to finish.

The reigning national champs opening game isn’t even on tv, streaming only.
99% of people have streaming on their TVs
If you have a cable subscription or something like YouTubeTV, you have the ability to watch your game on SECN+

While Mercer vs Ole Miss is an absolute garbage matchup, I most definitely would like to watch my team play.
And you can on SEC+, which is free if you have SEC Network. This game isn’t going to sell ads. The networks are going to put what they think will get the most viewers on their networks.
We are able to watch every SEC game nationwide, and probably worldwide, without paying extra to see them. I don’t understand the bitching all because one game will be stream only. Yet we consume movies and TV shows streaming with no bitching.

I dislike ESPN as much as everyone but it's not their fault. They didn't schedule these games
This is why we need a 10-game SEC schedule going forward to reduce the number of these meaningless games

I imagine it is the olds that think they have to pay the $9.99 to stream the game when SECN+ has been around for years now. I bet this week last year the same thread existed.

Probably so.
Bitching about watching a game on SECN+ is so odd. There's fewer commercials and the game moves much quicker. It is almost preferable.

I’m shocked that our game against SELA is on SECN.
It’s a garbage game too but you would think a team like Georgia would get their garbage team on the tv slot over us just because Georgia will get more viewers

The production quality of the streamed games tends to be shittier imo

Ok, so don't. What does that have to do with everyone else?

These games have been on SECN for years. They were never primetime games on any network. Why are you just now complaining?
