Yeah it would be, but that's what it would have to take. RPI is just too low.

This Ump's strike zone is incredibly inconsistent.

RPI would probably be around 10 or so and higher than Ole Miss's if it happened though.

You'd pretty much have to have USC lose here though, just like we need it.

A win over Florida would probably knock their RPI down another couple of points and that would be pretty hard to pass

and it would drop a couple back if they lost to UK. Plus LSU wouldnt necessarily have to straight pass them in the rpi. If they are 8 or 9 and we are 10 they wouldnt be a given over LSU. We finished ahead in the regular season and would be tourney champs.
Now rpi against top 25 and stuff like that would probably also be a factor. LSU needs MSU to jump two spots in the rpi and receive a 3-0 boost in the rpi vs 25 category

I have to say this group of umps in this tourney have not been very good. There have been some incredibly obvious bad calls throughout this tourney, both behind the plate and on the bags.

I almost commented on it earlier but I wanted to give the home plate ump a couple more innings to get consistent ... When it's 90+ degrees outside and you've got a fat man dressed in black behind the dish the zone always seems to expand and move around.
