You guys have been up and down all year. Seems like Rea has just checked out all together.

Yeah - like losing 2 to Holy Cross. Had to go to a stupid engagement party tonight but someone there told me that Rea has pretty much checked out as you say. We had to have him to have any offense this year.

Guy's an idiot. AD doesn't care about baseball so we may be stuck with him

I have been following MSU baseball for 35 years and this is literally the most disappointing team that I can remember in those 35 years.

The 18 SEC wins is the most in what ? ~20 years... Yall went 16-14 in the conference last season I believe... Lose Frazier, Renfroe, Girodo, and both of your catchers and win 2 more conference games ...You've been inconsistent at times but read the names I just listed that aren't there... Pretty solid all in all.

In Cohen's first 2 years the dawgs won 15 SEC games combined

8 of those 18 were against Georgia, Missouri and Auburn. Only quality SEC series win was Vanderbilt. Swept by LSU. Didn't play USC or Florida. Pitching with a healty Lingrin (taking Chad's long refief function) was supposed to be better than last. Didn't happen. Can't replace a Frazier and Renfroe no doubt. But this team was painful to watch many games. Renfroe and Frazier didn't cause our 2 losses to a 200+ rpi Holy Cross. We lost 3/4 out west to Arizona and UC-Santa Barbara.

8 of OM's SEC wins came against AU, Mizzou and UGA too.

You just bought into the preseason poll hype... Ask Arkansas fans about that... Yall have never been a top 10 team this season... Who knows ?! Maybe you finish as one... That's all anyone remembers... How you finish.

Actually, no. I was cautiously optimistic but never fell into the top 5 stuff.

I agree. And my "surprise" team to make a deep run is Kentucky, they can score enough runs to challenge anyone

Having to wait for the 7:30 game, which is 8:30 here, which is more likely to start past 9:00 here is going to suck.

We had the same game last year on Tuesday. Went 17 innings v. Missouri. Started late plus the extra innings. I was sitting in Hoover past midnight.

Looks like we'll be able to listen while at work today. You can also watch on ESPN3, subject to blackout though.
