Wes Rea was way overdue for a HR. Only fitting that it was a walk off in such a tight game.

That's the kind of a loss that can absolutely sink a team... Gonna be really tough to flush it and bounce back for regional play.

Couldn't stay up for this one but I paid my dues listening to late night sirens in Gary, Indiana a couple post-seasons ago so I'm calling it even. Will watch the replay tomorrow. Thanks for the wake up call to that one Reb.

With a top 5 SoS and a spot already in place for the weekend I would say UK is not a bubble team and is a 2 seed lock.

I've got LSU as a real top 8 seed threat with one more win and an Ole miss loss today OR by LSU beating Ole Miss tomorrow.
I've got Vandy on the ropes to even host now because they had a terrible showing and lost their last series to close out the season.

They're certainly a bubble for a two seed.
UK went 14-16 in league play while getting to play Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri, Alabama, and Texas A&M. UK went 7-8 against those teams.
