SEC Top 30 AP ranked teams

SEC teams ranked in Week 4 AP Poll
#1 Texas (58 first-place votes)
#2 Georgia (3)
#4 Ole Miss (3)
#8 Alabama
#10 LSU
#14 Tennessee
#19 Missouri
#21 Florida
#23 Texas A&M
#24 Mississippi State

Was looking at our schedule and it’s going to be a fun rollercoaster ride. And the same goes for other SEC teams and their schedules. No hiding for any team. I really enjoy the new venues and traditions.
Beyond the football this move was such a great thing. In baseball, it was 100% our tough SEC schedule that prepared us for that title run. In football because of way fewer games your margin for error is much smaller to make post season playoffs.
We will have to fight and claw to reach 7-5.

#1 Vs TX In RRS
#27 Vs Kentucky
#24 @ MSST
Vs SC
#21 @ Florida
#4 Vs Ole Miss
#23 Vs aTm
#19 @ Mizzou
We also played #18 Michigan. I know this will change but that would be 9 ranked teams we faced.
I also saw where Miami has only 1 ranked team on schedule, ND.
This is where SEC going to 9 games hurts the conf for playoffs. That extra game could hurt some teams if they are on cusp and lose.
Anyways, this is a tough yet fun schedule. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out not just for us but for the conference.
Would be curious to see others SEC schedules.

Right now #1 and #2 on our schedule upcoming, plus #21 this weekend and #19 a couple weeks later. #24 will be the end of the season for us and will probably be top 15 or 10 by the time we get to them.
Oklahoma on the road, may be our easiest game and that is by far not an easy game at all.
Rebels schedule is freaking brutal this year.

Chances are we are ranked after this weekend (if we beat South Alabama) and some folks in the Top 25 lose.
I do think it's a bit silly that we're being punished for the loss to Alabama when most everyone else was still playing cupcakes in Week 2.

SEC better wreck houses in the playoffs this year with the number of good teams. SEC has already beaten the best team outside of the SEC. If Florida takes down Miami…. oh boy.

Sounds like USA's starting QB (Davenport) will still be out Saturday. It will probably be ugly.
