A&M is streaky

A&M has the best overall record in baseball.
We have 1 series loss and have never lost 2 games in a row.
That is the complete opposite of steaky.

How sweet would it be to sweep LSU in their own stadium and end their chance at post-season play? However, it isn't likely.

All road series are tough. Lsu hasn't been swept at home but they have lost both home SEC series they have played.

They could win all four series, but odds favor each of those being 2-1 wins.

You make that sound like a bad thing. 47-9 (21-9) is fantastic.

100% Agree.

41-9 is a great record. I'm simply saying that 21-9 in the SEC isn't going to win it this year. UK and Tennessee have extremely favorable schedules down the stretch. If A&M had LSU and Ole Miss at home, I could see a possible SEC title. Anything could happen, but A&M currently sits in third and has UGA this weekend. That series scares the hell out of me ...

LSU may suck nuts this year, but they will be up for A&M. Ole Miss the same. I'm glad this team will not finish the year with the number one tag if we are honest. That thing is a curse

UT is going to have to go 10-2 to finish to top 21 wins. Thats a crazy ask.

Their schedule shows three or four possible sweeps. Vanderbilt doesn't have the hitting, but might steal one. The rest of it is very possible. And if I had to guess today, UK is winning the SEC

An 8-4 finish would put Arkansas at 22-8.

They finished with the same record and Arky won H2H. Who do you think the more deserving team is?

Clearly Arkansas. They beat A&M head to head, so I would think them most deserving. Now if they had not played H2H, then I understand that it would suck having to share a title with someone who got lucky with their schedule.

It’s hard to say you deserve a title over another team if you have the same record and they beat you H2H.

A&M has no shot, especially with their Sunday pitching issues. Very few sweeps left on the schedule

Do you have any idea what your talking about? or do you just pull your takes out of thin air?

It is pure mathematics. A&M is most likely to finish at 21-9 in the SEC. They aren't sweeping UGA, and have zero sweeps on the road this year. Plus Ole Miss and LSU are at the "have to win every single game left" stage. Certainly not sweeping Arkansas

Tennessee has Mizzou, SC, Vanderbilt, and Florida. There are some definite sweep possibilities in there, especially Mizzou as a high probability. So they will probably finish ahead of A&M, since they are only one game back. But Tennessee isn't the likely winner

UK only has to hold serve, and all of their hard games are at home. They have a two game lead on A&M and if they just win all of their series 2-1, then they are going to hold a share of the title unless a team goes on an absolute tear. Arkansas has the toughest schedule left with series at both UK and A&M so they have the hardest road

A&M will likely finish third or in a tie, where they are now. They will have a T8 seed unless they simply implode. They have pitching issues, and I expect that Schloss will continue to tinker with the lineup over the next couple of weeks, making a loss or two more likely.

Like I said, that is the most likely outcome. UK proved this weekend that they aren't going away

sweeps typically take a bit of luck. nobody really has a solid 3rd starter except arkansas.

i bet the aforementioned 4 teams all finish within 1-2 games of each other. at least 3 will be top 8 seeds in postseason.

Florida, Vandy and UofSC are baseball power programs traditionally.

A&M has the toughest schedule remaining. My money is on Kentucky winning their first SEC title in God who knows how long.

Why it is a good bet that the winner is UK. I think that Tennessee or Arkansas could tie them, but I still expect it to be UK.

I think A&M still has a series loss these next few weekends, which won't make me popular with any of the baseball fans but it is extremely likely. Especially to UGA or Arkansas.

Obviously, things certainly could change this weekend...but so far, Arkansas is 9-0 in SEC home games this season. Sweeping Missouri, LSU, & Ole Miss...really do not think it is a stretch to say Arkansas can go 5-1 in those two home series with Florida (8-10) and State (10-8).

So that puts Arkansas at 19-5 in league play. Then, two series on the road against UK and aTm....I won't put anything past 4-2 in those two series because I highly doubt a sweep is a possibility.

0-6 = 19-11
1-5 = 20-10
2-4 = 21-9
3-3 = 22-8
4-2 = 23-7
