Ole miss. What a joke. Their “fans” are comprised of out of state students that had no allegiance to the school beforehand or racist trashy Mississippians. Neither group really actually follows their team closely. (Know a handful of guys that could maybe fill 2 hands worth of players names). What really irks me is how when they win they act like little entitled cucks, but when they lose (which is most of the time) they act like they don’t give a frick. Glad kiffin has the opportunity to send their team deeper in the pit of misery.

So because their student population isn’t from Mississippi they have no right to be a fan? Maybe their parents went their and moved away. Maybe they watched them growing up. Who the hell are you to define who gets to be a fan of who?

I’m sure that’s true for some of them but the stereotype is something very different. From metro Atlanta or metro Houston, parents are reasonably well off but want to appear more wealthy than they are. Kid doesn’t get in to the Georgia or Texas school of their choice and suddenly turns extremely aggressively old money southern Ole Miss fan over night.
I’ve known a few, no clue on how widespread that is.

Okay even if that’s the case they made a decision to go to a university and support it. Your hating on that? I didn’t get into my number one school but I went to LSU. Am I not allowed to be a fan?

I don’t personally have a problem with it. If I didn’t get in UGA I’d have gone somewhere else and loved that team. Not knocking Ole Miss students for that at all.

Older Ole Miss fans I know are good people.
For some reason, their younger fans (current students, graduated in the last 1-3 years) I've interacted with have been the worst.
Any older Ole Miss fan on this board had similar experiences/explanation on this phenomenon?
