You can't get extremely aggressive old money overnight.

I've been to most SEC schools on gameday weekends both as a student and post grad and for the most part they all look and act the same.

line a Bama, OM, GA, SC, Tenn avg student in a row and if they didn't wear their respective school colors I doubt you could pick which school they attended accurately.

When I was a student at LSU, we were taught to always hate Ole Miss.

So yes, they should always lose. Geaux to Hell Ole Miss.

Totally agree. And I think that’s why Ole Miss gets mocked. It comes across as fake and trying too hard.

Again, I don’t blame the students. They love the school they go to just like everybody else. The aesthetic criticism is probably more on their parents who probably went to Texas or Georgia in the little hypothetical I described.

This is ultimately just a stereotype that may not actually be that common. I’ve just known a few and heard of others. Only been to Oxford once my whole life.
