Why would you sell OM, Missouri, and Kentucky at a point when they're at their lowest? OM would be a good buy and then hold for a couple years. Would be cheap given they're on probation. Missouri would also be a decent buy. Returning Lock, East still sucks, so they could produce enough gains to warrant a cheap buy and then sell at the end of the season. Kentucky I'd just pass on completely or hold if I already had them. LSU wouldn't be a good sell. The stock would have potential and you're not going to get a good rate right now if you already had it because if you bought LSU stock in the past 17 years you bought it much higher than it's valued at currently.

All good points.....BUT I'm not big on that improving. If I can sell those and put more money into UF that's what I'm doing. To me UF right now is basically where Apple was 6 months before they announced the iPod.

Auburn - Hold - been an asset with wild fluctuations and could go up or down based on some key acquisitions. Seems to have stabilized and be on solid footing, but only next season will tell.

LSU - Sell - Curious hire as CEO. Performed fairly well overall but had some inexplicable losses due to some boneheaded decisions. Human capital losses are too much to recommend. Might be time sell this one off.

At the end of the day BOTH had 4 losses.

At the end of the day, losing to the #2, #4, #6, and #18 teams is not at all the same as losing to #1, #11, #19, and Troy.

... especially when you also have wins against both #1 and #2.

I think that just shows that Auburn is a riskier stock

So you have 14 competing stocks and your recommendation is to buy 8 of them? Neat, you should have gone with a different analogy since this one makes you look like a dumbass.

It's a safe investment right now, and pays an excellent dividend. It's an excellent hedge against some of the riskier buys noted in the post.

the problem with buying Alabama is, as far as college football is concerned, they've pretty much maxed out their value. So the only way to go is down and their purchase price would be crazy high. You're not really hedging your bet at all. Anything less than a national title win for their stock would be a loss. Therefore, that's a stock you hold if you already had it given they'll be a favorite again next year and sell once Saban retires. But you don't buy it at all.

I think Florida will continue to struggle. Unless Florida has a legendary coach, they've proven to be a very average program.

PreSpurrier- Struggled
Spurrier- Dominated
Zook- Struggled
Meyer- Dominated
Muschamp- Struggled
McElwain- Struggled

Is Mullen of the same lot as Spurrier and Meyer? I don't think so. He was something like 3-30 against ranked opponents at Mississippi State. His numbers were inflated because he consistently played the easiest schedule in the SEC.

Will Florida reach the Top 25 with Mullen? Most likely. Will they compete for SEC Titles on an annual basis? Don't hold your breath.

This is McElwain Part 2 only with a better offense.

You pretty much suck ballz when it comes to speculation.

Have a down vote.

I thought overall it was a decent thread- off-season beggars can't be choosers.

That's a lot of buys in what is a zero-sum conference.

Retard.

UGA - Buy - they are Amazon a decade back. High upside with an a-hole for a CEO, but a solid business model that has been underperforming for so long that it's bound to upswing after showing a solid earnings report last year.

Only if you bought when Kirby got hired. They are a hold. Completely. And that's a good thing.

Bama - hold - good blue chip dividend stock that is a solid investment. It's at the top of it's value so there's not much upside but the dividend pays well.

Probably a hold at the moment but at the beginning of the 2nd half, they were a SOLID BUY!

Sell this shite.

A&M agreed.
UF agreed.
UT agreed.

USCjr sell. Don't think they do all that great next year. They won't be flying under the radar and Boom won't know how to handle it. Hope I'm wrong though.

Miss St solid sell. Under Mullen they were as good as they were ever going to be. They will revert back to Mittittippi Tate starting next year and slide on down over the next few.

Ole Miss - Shitty penny junk stock.

UK I might buy a few shares. Agree with the bourbon thing though ;)

Arkansas agreed.

Mizzou buy for the lolz.

Is Vandy an SEC team

This is spot on.We play em early on the road next year. The only thing I'm pretty sure of is LOTS of passing yards and then they'll probably almost lose to a DII team the next week.
