This poll is bilge, Auburn got robbed and the USC national love, for a team that lost to WASHINGTON, is sickening.

So, the Cocks have one loss on the last play of the game to the # 14 ranked team, beat the #4 team on national TV, beat an NC State Team that is now 3-1 and averaging 500+ yard per game . . . and we're not ranked.

I know, I know . . . we're South Carolina and we're winning ugly, but that's still a better resume than any other 3-1 team out there.

And Okla State (3-1) over Houston (3-0) when Houston beat their arse in Okla State a few weeks ago??? WTF?

Yeah this blows, hopefully we'll win our next 2 games vs SC State and UK at home and be able to get in there as other ranked teams fall.

Of course after those 2 games we'll have to go 'Bama and lose that ranking.

I am wondering what purpose the coaches poll even serves if the asshats have no clue what the hell is going on and do not even watch the games.

Nah, they came up in the discussion when me and a couple of friends were figuring out which away game to go to this year but we decided on Knoxville.

Can't wait for all the inevitable "USC is the strongest team at the end of the year/this is why we need a playoff" bs that will be coming out of Southern Cal in December.

My dream scenario is Bama squeaking past UF and getting USC for all the marbles.

Could Chizik possibly go undefeated with Auburn and be left out again?

We aren't going undefeated, so I won't have to worry about that.

They should put Mississippi State at 6, AU at 5.

Anywho, I dont think anyone is going to believe in Auburn till they beat someone who is ranked. Otherwise, the complaints sound to me like an undefeated Sun Belt team complaining about being unranked.

When they prove they can compete in the tough half of the schedule(and not the sleepwalk portion, with the possible exception of WVU.....possibly) Ill support it.

Otherwise, the 4-0 record came at the expense of teams with combined 5-9 record while putting an average of 24.25 points on you guys. People still have reasons to be skeptical.

Any poll that lets a guy that completely forgot about DMac in his Heisman voting vote is illegitimate and a joke. Plus , as stated most of these guys have ZERO chance of watching anyone outside of their own conference play, so how could they possibly rank them?

If you win on the road in a tough conference, you arn't going down.

AU should not be ranked. They have not played anyone. The team they beat last night has yet to win a game...and lost to North Texas. Let AU win on the road vs. UT then I think they will deserve to be ranked.

Not slamming AU...they are heads and shoulders better this year. They have a bright future.

What qualifications are you using to define who gets ranked?

And if you hold any other team to the same qualifications as Auburn; who does deserve to be ranked, in your opinion?

Unless LSU has some kind of rebirth in the next 6 days, that shite won't last.

In fact, we may be out of the top 20 in the next few weeks if we can't find some offense.
