So this thread is "SEC stadium Capacities" not who has drawn more in the last three years.

1.65 billion in Tiger Stadium. Ever since Miles showed up he started making them hand count every blade of grass on the field. Word on the street is he has some weird grass fetish or something. Couldn't tell you how that rumor got started.

We aren't the only fanbase to call Neyland One Cheek. At least when you guys leave at halftime every other year there is room to stretch out.

Bama is not the largest you guys have 101,821 we have 102,455 get your facts right. This is according to the Tennessee athletics and Bama athletics website.

Tennessee cites "stadium capacity" while Alabama cites "seating capacity". Seating capacity is seats / arse. Nobody wants to know how many concession stand workers are at a UT game.

Historic Kyle Field will be over 100,000 when we get our $500 million dollar redo done.

Ok but unfortunately the statistics say Neyland is bigger. I don't care if the seats are tight. The numbers don't lie.

When is Alabama's property tax due on Neyland Stadium?

More capacity doesn't mean bigger. Size wise Bryant Denney has a bigger footprint according to google maps.

The point is, with more seating capacity come more student with tickets who cannot sell them.

We already have the largest student section in the SEC (18,500). Any addition built would not add any student seats IMO... I like the plan that bumps us up to 99,000 with most (4000) being new suite's & Club Level seats....

Our stadium will also be better since we won't have 50,000 trash t-shirt fans in it like the vols and lsu.

That is a horrible analysis. I Would rather have a stadium that went straight up and got you closer to the field. Its the difference between michigan's 110k versus tennessee's 110k... Tennessee's is a much better viewing experience. But I will argue that Tennessee and atm have the narrowest seats in the SEC. Tennessee should hold less that 100k if properly spaced. BDS is a great stadium I just wish they didn't have such a curve at the 50's. You are a long way away from the field if you sit near the middle. But it is one of the nicest looking stadiums anywhere.

I thought that would be good too. Extend the 600's all the way around to the sky suites, that would put the stadium with at least 96,000 to 97,000.

If you're talking about all the way around I feel like that would EASILY put us over 102k

You went from 100K to 102K with construction of the "Tennessee Terrace". Come on, man. You didn't add seats.

No you don't... A&M's is about 28,000. We maxed out against Nebraska in 2010 with over 30,000 students at a single game.
