I thought Achane was faster than that. Fournette was clocked at 22.9 mph on a long run vs Ole Miss his last season coming back from a sore hammy and carrying 235 lbs.

Honestly, I know he is really fast but I figured he must have been coasting.

Yeah I’m not so sure he was at top speed. No Alabama player was anywhere close to him once he broke free. I would imagine he knew and put it on cruise control. He has clocked a 20.3 200 meter and 10.04 100m. Now he’s probably put on football muscle during the off-season and not at those speeds, but not many if any would catch him in the open field

Yes, the three true freshman offensive lineman struggled against your defense.

That was fast. Jimbo needs to get him the ball more.

He will get the ball plenty more next year when Spiller is drafted and the offensive line gets more experience. He is actually not bad between the tackles and can fight for yardage surprisingly well. He’s shown to be very strong and durable for his size and sheds tackles well. He’s not just a straight shot speedster. We will have plenty of backup as well.

What impresses me most about Achane is his acceleration more than his top speed. When watching the return, there are two moments where he speeds past tacklers and he accelerated so fast it almost looks like someone speeds up the playback briefly.

I was really impressed with the Arkansas defense in our game but what the hell has happened since then? I seriously thought you all were legit on D but I saw the Georgia score and watched you against Ole Miss and it didn't look like the defense that we played. Injuries? Worn out?

Everybody has fast skill positions, SEC speed is speed in the 250 and up category, linemen running down backs etc...

Sooner Gridiron
@soonergridiron
Tre Brown hit a max speed of 23.3 miles per hour on his chase down tackle against Baylor.

The fastest NFL player ever tracked by NextGenStats is Tyreek Hill at 23.24 in 2016.

It’s not always about the speed, it’s about determination and perseverance…

I'm really disappointed in tRant. 3 pages in and this has barely been addressed. WTF? This thread NEEDS to make a hard left and get to the bottom of this.
