Maybe but 5 undisbuted NC's that coulda easily been in the post segregation era is
pretty damn impressive.

It's about more than just national championships, however. To be a blue blood you have to have had sustained success over the course of decades. Miami is currently 45th all-time in wins, 19th all-time in win percentage, 18th all-time in bowl appearances, and 54th all-time in bowl win percentage. It also must be noted that as recently as 1979, just over 40 years ago, the university was mulling cutting the football program because it was so shitty and draining on their revenue.

I mean USC was at least still relevant in the 2000's. Michigan, NE, Miami, those are dead programs.

USC is also far away from a dead program. They won the Rose Bowl as recently as 2016-17 and finished in the Top 5 in both major polls. They are a good head coach away from elite status.

To be fair, Notre Dame had even more recent success (making the playoffs in 2018, playing for a title in 2012, and finishing top 12 the past three years). That said, compared to Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State those numbers are not terribly impressive.

I still can’t get over how far Nebraska has fallen in 15 years

Nebraska, Michigan and ND all recruited nationally in their heyday. So when their reputations started to take a hit, it was hard for them to continue that. That excuse doesn't apply to Texas, USC, Miami, etc. who have plenty of talent in their backyards

Sure but you eventually got to step up with NC's especially in the post integration era.See Texas and Michigan

Both have one NC each in the last 50 years
I'll take Miami's resume all day over both those schools in that time period.
