I knew Ohio State had been kicking Michigan's arse for a while but didnt realize OSU was 15-1 against them over the last 16 games.

Michigan has .5 National Championships since 1948. Blue blood status should be subject to review

This. I knew it had been quite a few but 1-15. Holy shite.

Gaps widening too. Ohio State is recruiting like a monster.

Weirdly enough, Tennessee not featured.

Tennessee isn't a blue blood. There's only about 7 or 8 teams that can actually claim that title and bama is the only one from the SEC

I actually think they should be but they never really get put in the conversation as the other historical blue bloods. Despite going on about 15+ years of mediocre-to-bad football UT is still in the top 10 of all-time wins. If winsipedia is to be believed they sit at 10th just behind So. Cal and just above UGA. They also have a handful of national titles and a good amount of conference titles as well.

ETA: And that last national title of theirs is more recent than other blue bloods like Michigan, ND, and Nebraska.

When we're talking 20+ years does 1-3 year make that big of a deal?

Yes. If anything it only bolsters my point that UT should be in that conversation of former blue bloods.

Like NE, ND, and Michigan, UT used to win a lot of football games, conference championships, and national titles. All of their last national titles came within about a decade of one another in the late 80s-late-90s.

Outside of a few seasons almost all of them have been shadows of their former programs since the early 2000s.

"Blue Bloods" are the programs that were good from the 50's through 70's.

If you were good before that, it's ancient history. If you got good after that, you're new money.
