The vast majority of Alabama's and Oklahoma's passing yardage has come in the 21st century. Alabama is on this list despite the fact that we had only two QBs eclipse 2,000 yards passing in a season during the 20th century (Gary Hollingsworth in 1989 and Freddie Kitchens in 1996).

Did the wishbone formation spread the wealth a little too much during the Coach Bryant era? Doesn't really matter when you think about it. BAMA historically won because they could always dominate the LOS through the running game. Always.

Tennessee's only had 20, but they have had one each of the last 3 years. Prior to that, they had gone 8 years without one. If you look at their coaching history this Century:

LSU has 24. Even though Guice's stats were removed from records books it doesn't change the fact that he had 2 seasons with over 1200 yards. This is like claiming Reggie Bush didn't win the heisman.
