On the other hand, nobody has WVU's travel schedule. That's insane.

They'd probably be below Florida on my list in the SEC. Tracel distance would only be somewhat better for them in the SEC. They really belong in the ACC.

BTW I do a bit of graphing, too. If you'd send me those helmet icons I'll be in your debt.

From a competition standpoint, I like Mizzou in the East, but long term and common sense wise, I'd prefer us in the west.

Eww that's an unexpected twist.

But all of your other sports do, so it stands.

True. Same with Arky and aTm playing in Dallas. My list wasn't necessarily for football, just the distance between schools in general.

I'm starting to wonder if Mizzou fans realize that someday, when their body is ready and the time is right, their penis WILL grow.

Navel gazing > Mizzou football, apparently.

East with Arky as perma beatdown team works for me.

Would be nice to be in div with the Miss schools and Tamu, but it's really a toss up between East and West making the most sense. I like the current set up.

MSU should be lower since no interstates go through there.

Straight line distance isn't really the issue, if you're talking about driving. The major roads in Missouri run east and west--they basically have to go to St. Louis to get to any other SEC school other than Arkansas and A&M. The other mitigating factor is that by being in the East, they get Arkansas as their permanent cross division opponent. If Missouri went West and Auburn went East, then Missouri might end up with South Carolina as a cross over opponent.

Over a distance of 500 miles, most folks are going to fly rather than drive.

They probably would be. I measured by straight line (geographic) distance
