At this point of the season: Connor Shaw

Alabama has the best at everything. There. Now Alabama fans feel better.
Now you can stop making these threads.

AJ McCannon

Before the season, most claimed that it was Tyler Wilson or Aaron Murray. Some delusional fans claimed it was Bray or Mettsiah. Is there any doubt that halfway thru the season, it is hands down AJ McCannon followed closely by JFF.
Johnny fricking Football is the best, followed closely by McCarron.

If there is one thing we've learned, it's that the rant will never admit that mccarron is the best in the league..the evidence staring them in the face doesn't matter. They're not going to admit bama is the best at another position, especially when it's arguable.
So you see the typical you're right but I won't admit it because I'm not going to stroke your ego response. "bama best at everything, best o line, system QB blah blah blah. The same recycled rhetoric we've seen for a while now. We know he's the best, we know it won't be admitted, no use for a thread about it

McCarron's not the best. He's got a good head, but every snap, he has approximately two weeks to throw the ball.
It's Wilson, always has been. Bray has all the talent, but he's as dumb as JaMarcus.

This is the Bama spin machine in full force. I don't know who is going to trip you up this year, but if anyone one of your players actually believes McCarron is good, you will fall on your face. No doubt about it. Thread bookmarked since I hope Johnny Football is going to be the one that unravels him.

A myth conjured up by everyone else. He moves in the pocket as well as anyone. The o-line has been better on paper than grass this season. I'm not saying our line is bad, but to say mccarron never sees pressure means you're not watching bama games. Give me a smart QB with a strong accurate arm every single time please. Y'all can have the risk reward guys

It's hard not to say McCarron, but I might give the edge to Shaw with his mobility.

Joe fricking Montana would look sketchy behind our offensive line.
QB performance is heavily dictated by the rest of the team. Of course Bama's QB is going to look great because he has an offensive line that gives him plenty of time and he is going against a defense that is exhausted because Bama's stout defense keeps making the opposing team's offense go three and out.
Call me a homer, but Tyler is still the best QB in the SEC and it really isn't even up for discussion. You look at his overall performance and it is very impressive. I would love to see another team's QB come into our dumpster fire of a season and do any better.

I'm not sure I've seen any QB have more time to throw all season than Wilson did against Auburn. All fricking day. Granted, that was a bit of an anomaly and Arkansas' line hasn't been that good overall, but ours has been overrated up to this point. Still good enough, better than Arkansas', not nearly as good as their hype.

I like to see a qb that can pass. Maybe I have not watched enough bama games (and can care less about strokin mighty bama egos), but I see
Wilson
Bray
JFF
being the best qb's

I'll freely admit that if I wanted a QB for LSU right now and couldn't get Wilson, it would be McCarron, maybe Shaw.

McCarron and Shaw are in a tight race right now. JFF is in 3rd. I think Driskel has the most potential.
Wilson looks mediocre without the 3 NFL WRs and Bobby calling plays.
Bray and Murray are still the same as last year. Good stats, but will keep the other team in the game and lose the game for you in the end.
I like McCarron over Shaw slightly because he has better arm talent and is more careful with the ball. Both are championship caliber QBs though and any tema would be lucky to have either.

Bray ranks first in yards, completions, TDs, fewest sacks, and will be the best pro prospect. DWI

I see Vol fans have gone back to sucking Bray's dick after turning on him just a few weeks ago.
