Can the SEC Commissioner define what a "former professional athlete" is? I think the rule would be considerably easier to follow if he would come out and define that term.

Keep laughing. As I was saying last night, the universities and the conference will take this all the way up if need be and the more LSU fights against it, the more likely they are to be booted from this conference. This is about much more than sports and it's hilarious how you people cannot see this because you're enamored with potentially putting two dudes on your football roster.

Ban all players from playing under a TRO and no one would argue... but they won't until it involves LSU

Former professional athletes, yet the commissioner himself said he couldn’t define that
How is this real life?

“The universities” are doing the same shite we are doing

So are we saying a pro athlete is one that accepts money? That is the traditional definition, or did we change it because the gump's emp decided LSU might be too good by taking advantage?

Yall are getting kicked out of the conference. It’s going to be hilarious.

George, you have made at least your last 45 posts, stretching over the past 4 days exactly the same. Accusing others of melting. One word. "Melt." You can stop trying to convince others that you're ok. It's clear you aren't. Let it out, it's going to be alright.

They couldn’t even define what a fricking amateur athletic person was

Maybe, but you’d think the SEC official statement would have been much stronger if they were.

The SEC did not file a preemptive lawsuit against Alabama earlier this year when they played a basketball player, Charles Bediako, who had spent three years in the NBA G League. That player scored 13 points against Tennessee, yet the SEC never filed a lawsuit for a declaratory judgment.
Greg Sankey is a complete hypocrite who should absolutely be fired for the nonsense he spouted on the witness stand today. His lawyers are an even bigger joke—both the ones who filed the lawsuit in Alabama and the ones who advised him to show up in Baton Rouge today.
The "experts" on national television have absolutely no knowledge of the actual situation. The NCAA created this entire mess, but because the media wants a scapegoat, they are blaming Lane Kiffin. Multiple courts across the country have already granted Temporary Restraining Orders (TROs) against the NCAA for its baffling decision to deny the 2022 transfer class five years of eligibility—a privilege the NCAA willingly granted to every other class, including those impacted by COVID-19 and the 2023 class and beyond.
LSU is not out here recruiting NFL players. They are recruiting 2022 transfers who may have spent a mere two weeks on an NFL practice squad because the NCAA is a dysfunctional organization that consistently prioritizes its image over people.

I honestly didn't really care about this. But the fact that they only took issue when LSU started to dable in gray area makes it personal. So frick the SEC
