As an aside, they should figure out a way to accurately rate transfers and add them to the rankings with the transfer portal being as prevalent as it is now

I bet that's coming pretty quickly. 247 is rating them at this point pretty seriously, so it is only a matter of time before those get meshed in with the recruiting rankings.

The state of Missouri had 4 Top 100 players and Missouri didn't sign any of them.

Missouri didn't sign players #5-9 either - and 4 of them went to Minnesota, Illinois, and Arizona State.

Obviously Missouri didn't get those player because they didn't try hard enough. And if they did get those players, they might have jumped from 10th in SEC recruiting to 9th!

Really? I hadn’t seen that. All of ours just have their HS ranking

What rating are you using? Missouri only had 1 top 100 player in the composite. Granted, he’s going to Ohio St

No players from Missouri signed with Minnesota or Arizona St that I’m aware of

Yea - take a look at the link below. It has a "HS ranking" but also a "T" ranking, which is basically a re-evaluation of the transfer in terms of 1-100 grade and stars.

247 2021 Transfer Portal

Not everyone has a transfer one, actually a whole lot less than I remembered. Maybe they go back and do it after signing day when they have less time to spend on HS stuff. Look at the 2020 season and there are "T" grades on almost all of the kids, so I assume they'll get to that shortly for 2021.

I had to laugh because ain’t that the damn truth. Auburn is such a Jekyll and Hyde program that just when you rule them out to be any good they shock everyone lol.

That may have been so in the past, but somehow the bag men have gotten poor in Auburn.

Don't make fun of Barry! His defense held the high powered Mizzou offense to 650 yards and 50 points. It's not his fault Arkansas didn't have the offense to take advantage of that stellar defensive effort.

If 24/7 is doing it they may be the first. I know we got a good transfer from Texas , a 4 star CB to pair with Emmanuel Forbes which is huge for our secondary. Forbes led the SEC in INT return yards with 184. Three pick 6 to the house and he was a true freshmen.

Zach Arnette doing work, secondary has historically been our biggest weakness on defense although we’ve had some good ones at times. I think the reason transfers are not ranked especially like now is because so many are grad transfers and are only gonna play one year or they had to sit a year etc.

And you went 5-5 in 2020. So, what's your point?

BTW, we'll be signing Jordan Moko in about 24 hours.

Dude, you are Agsessed...your obsession is duly noted.

Auburn football is dead.

We shall see.

Coach Harsin will either resurrect Auburn football, or he will be looking for the next job.

Let’s see where things are going into 2023 season.

Even “he who should not be named” was 7-6 his first year in the league.

Oof, the low IQ Aggie doesn't like me pointing out that Jumbo just lost 5 games in 2019 despite not playing an all SEC schedule.

FSU style collapse incoming.
