Good, then we can go back to the computers. Which still had Bama over FSU.

If you watched Bama need literal miracle to beat a terrible Auburn team and think they are one of the best 4 teams then you need to stop watching football.

It’s pretty simple…Texas lost to OU…Bama lost to Texas…FSU lost to no one. You do the math Festus.
Liberty didn't lose to anyone with a schedule just about as good as FSU's.

So there is no proof Bama played a "real" schedule. If a few teams are preseason overrated and Bama played no one but Texas. Also their only common opponent shows they were the better team too.
They didn't earn shite playing that weak arse schedule...hell, lsu probably goes undefeated with that schedule.

I am always hearing “next man up!” when there is an injury, but I guess the committee and people like you don’t believe in that.
All season we have had to listen to LSU fans tell us that without Jayden Daniels they would be a .500 or worse team. We have listened to them tell us that he is the only reason they are competitive. We have had to listen to them tell us the only reason they lost the Alabama game is because Jayden Daniels missed the last 10 minutes of the game.
Yet today we have had to listen to these very same fans say that it doesn’t matter that FSU lost their star quarterback, they are a team and one player doesn’t define a team.

They beat the #1 team.

Either FS or Georgia should be in. My opinion.

FSU went undefeated, including beating two SEC schools out of conference.
Bama didn’t go undefeated, and has looked pretty shitty a lot of the year.
There’s zero argument for Bama (or Texas, to be clear) over FSU. Just bring back the BCS rankings and put the committee out to pasture where it belongs.

FS won three games without starting QB . That’s a big difference.

The BCS rankings have Bama at #3.

Thats getting Bama in. FSU is simple: they won.

Wrong. FSU earned their spot, and everyone of you know that.
Nah. They gave up that ability when they joined the ACC.

What are you hearing about strength of schedule?

Well, that’s not a good look for those rankings then.
I’m in favor of bringing back some type of non-human way to rank the teams going forward. Thankfully, this all matters less with the 12-team playoff where at least 5 conference champions are guaranteed spots.

Fsu should of lost to Boston college and Louisville

That's what the BCS is.

The argument
1. Alabama had more CFP top 25 wins
2. Alabama had a much better strength of schedule
3. Alabama's loss was to the #3 team in the final poll
4. FSU's resume was not going to be better even with Travis; they needed that elite quarterback factor to win a comparison to Alabama.
That's at least FOUR arguments not ZERO.

You may like this as an OU fan but the BCS formula would have likely had the top four as: 1. Michigan 2. Washington 3. Alabama 4. Florida State.
That is a more fricked up situation than what we got...

Not when the team has the 58th ranked strength of schedule and the QB that got hurt is the only reason they didn’t go 7-5.
There’s no way to know this. The defense was so dominant that they won their conference title game with a third stringer. You’re basically saying that you can only win with offense. Oh, and the regular season doesn’t matter.
