That’s a lot easier said than done. We got a burned a couple times blitzing when they’d dump it in the middle and get decent YAC.

Id love to see a stat about the UGA offense against man defense.
Im not saying that we are Mike Leach dangerous. But we are dang close.

We lead the conference in yards per attempt passing. You can thank man defense for that stat.

(Edit to correlate man defense to blitzing)

Obvious issue here is that this only includes throwing performance under pressure and not total performance. When the pocket collapses on Matt Corral he runs for a first down instead of trying to throw for it. If you want to know how a QB throws the ball then traditional QBR is fine, but if you want to know his actual performance you want to look at total QBR.

Definitely something Will Levis needs to work on. Its so frustrating watching him take off when he just needs to step up into the pocket. He's really picking up the offense the last two weeks though so there is hope. Wish we had more talented WR's.

It's a little more complicated than that, but it's part of the equation for most teams. Not sure how many top front 7's or disruptive DLs they've faced

He was practicing with the first team yesterday after Joth said he is day to day. I thought for sure he tore something the way he was gimpy even before getting knocked out on the last drive

IMO the lack of WR talent is probably part of the problem. He knows we have like one guy who can get open downfield and at this point they’re doubling down on him.

If I recall Penn State also required him to tuck and run a lot. So could also be habit.

Speaking of QB's hows Rogers doing at Miss State. Looked like he was hurting during the first half of that Bama game. I did not see the second half.

They have no shot to beat good, athletic defenses with him running that system. His arm can't get the ball into tight windows down the field, and without that they basically have to throw all 10 yards and in routes and the occasional deep jump ball.

Would be pretty swell if we got to play against Milton this weekend.

Also, our OL sucks. Most pressured QB in the league.

Stetson gets rid of the ball too quickly

Oh I just meant injury wise. We play them after they face off with Vandy this week.

It's the same offense the blew up Tim Couches shoulder. Well that and playing behind one of the worst NFL offensive lines in history.

There is no way Bryce Young has been pressured more times than any other QB.

Do you actually watch the Alabama games? They said he was pressured on 44% of his throws against MSU, and if you watched the game it’s believable. Even on some of his TD throws he had a defender in his face.

Going into the Ole Miss game, ESPN also said he was one of the most pressured P5 QBs in the nation.

Bennett and Daniels both struggle under pressure. Hopefully we have something ready for them if we solve the riddle of stopping that running play LSU kept killing us with.

Take a good long look at the chart again. They ALL suck arse under pressure.

And as OP said, it doesn't take into account Stet's scrambles. It's a pass-only metric.

Secondly, with the big leads UGA tends to have, he's coached to throw it away and live to the next down instead of trying to force something and making a mistake that can let your opponent back into the game. If he's under pressure and his reads aren't open and there's nowhere to scramble, he throws it away, and this stat looks pretty bad. But understandable.

Yeah. 2 for 7 passing by Daniels against clemson under pressure.

Hang your hopes on that one please. All of our receivers (other than running backs) were freshmen and we just rotated 2 OL due injury after the 4th offensive play of the game due to injury (C and RG)

and for good measure make sure your safety and linebackers bite down really hard on the play action fakes. Really terrifies the Georgia Quarterbacks.

If this is what Grantham dials up, I foresee Washington as the 7 yard checkdown guy all day. All the qb has to do is flick it in his general direction. And the field will be open because of the blitz. Hell, it would give Stet a great opportunity to improve OP's stat. Could go 10/11 on those.

This is how we know you haven't watched any Bama games this year.

Our pass protection is the worst I can remember for a LONG time.

I only watched one game in earnest earlier this year, don't remember the opponent. Bryce was making cheese and crackers in the backfield.
