They rearranged the entire layout of the lockerroom, coaches offices, etc. They cut out an opening in the green monster so the bullpen can now see what is going on in the game.. they changed the direction the bullpen mounds face.
They have done more but that's all I can recall off the top of my head.
The OP is stupid for trying to pass this off as the legit "SEC Preseason power rankings"
Auburn picked 14th is either ill-informed or just a troll. Carry on.

Here's to hoping Stricklin has us playing some respectable baseball this year. No reason UGA shouldn't be in the top half of these lists. Thanks Perno.
I do like what he brings from Kent St

I'm real excited about stricklin. Perno just overstayed his welcome by about 3 years. He was awesome for a while, but it was certainly time for some fresh blood.

OK to whoever says Mississippi State lost a lot don't have a clue, and whoever said we didn't recruit well also doesnt have a clue. We are bringing in 5 kids who got drafted as well as a kid from Fla who graduated after his JR year of HS to come play at state and could have likely been a top 10 round draft pick next summer.
We return
2nd- Brett Pirtle
1st- Wes Rea
3rd/DH- Alex Detz
CF- CT Bradford
LF- Demarcus Henderson
We also return 2 All American Pitchers as well as 3 others who were injured last year and have recoverd.
Jonathan Holder 1st Team AA closer
Ross Mitchell 11 game winner 3rd team AA
Ben Bracewell 5th year SR
Trevor Fitts started in the CWS
Jacob Lindgren hard throwing lefty top 50 prospect
Brandon Woodruff recovering from injury will be our ace top 50 player
This is just a few of our returning players not to mention our recruits and guys who redshirted like Daniel Gardner or didn't play much Jacob Robson and Matthew Britton.
I'm not saying we will be the number 1 team in the SEC but we will be a consensus top 10 team in the nation.

shouldn't the more talented team that returns more talented players beat the teams that it beat last season?
what logic should we use for preseason rankings?
You mean the team that went on the road during regionals and never sniffed Omaha? That doesn't appear to be the more talented team in comparison with the one that hosted -- and went deeper into the postseason than any Arkansas team in history.
You bring back 31% of your innings pitched last year.
MSU brings back 57% of our innings pitched.
You bring back 47% of your total ABs.
MSU brings back 55% of our total ABs.
But don't let facts get in the way of a good sail...

Considering Arkansas beat State 2 of 3 and finished 3rd in the SEC (compared to State's 5th place finish), I'd call that a wash.

2 of 3 on the road -- without our two best SP. They also played arguably the easiest schedule in the conference last year while MSU played without question the hardest. They got Georgia and Tennessee out of the east -- while MSU got Florida and Vandy. Schedule flip flops this year and MSU gets the easy path -- where we drop Florida, South Carolina, and UK to pick up Georgia, Mizzou, and Tennessee. While Arky gets the murderer's row of Florida, USCe, and Vandy to go along with Mizzou.
With expansion, the regular season conference championship will basically be reduced to luck in scheduling. IMO we see a 36 game conference schedule soon -- with midweek conference games to account for the last 6(and to build quality programming for the SECNetwork 7 days a week) that also brings back a semblance of scheduling parity.

Why do you have to trail back to a game two whole seasons ago to talk shite?
08-09: Ark 2-1
09-10: Ark 3-0
10-11: Ark 2-1
11-12: Ark 2-1
12-13: Ark 2-1
Oh....I see why.

I like how you ignored the fact that 2 of those teams were among the worst in MSU history -- and we've only fielded one team since the rebuild was complete -- which still, consequently, played virtually the entire season without 2 of 3 weekend starters. Not only that -- you even managed to get the records incorrect.
But hey -- we are shaking in our boots about the Arky team that brings back zero weekend starting pitchers...

Nobody gives a shite about your head to head wins over the past couple of years. Let me lay a couple of stats on you and then I will give you a chance to refute and back up your team. Warning: You are about to look really fricking stupid.
CWS Appearances:
State - 9
Arkansas - 7
NCAA Tournament Appearances:
State - 33
Arkansas - 26
Conference Tournament Champions:
State - 7
Arkansas - 0
Conference Champions:
State - 16
Arkansas - 2
Wow, that's embarrassing. So y'all keep your head to head wins over the past couple years, because frankly.......we don't give a damn.

Surrender what? Surrender to stupidity from your fellow fans?
Engine has repeatedly showed his stupidity in this thread....First by saying State beat Stanek last year in Hoover....then by stating State had been farther in the CwS than Arkansas...
Stupidity
Ignorance
Those are words that sum up engine the poster
