LSU has the history with a slightly more distant recent success.
How recent are we talking?
2013: 23-7 2nd (tourny champ)
2012: 19-11 1st
Or slightly longer term?
2 SEC titles, 3 SEC tourny titles, 2 CWS and a national title in the last 5 seasons.
I guess it could be worse.

Ironic that your boy Hawgeye and Dale Denton use the same exact criteria to try and make yall believe that Arkansas' basketball program is a good program now
When do I tout anything from the 1970's or 1980's for basketball?
The difference is winning titles. Something State has never done in any sport. Never. No sport.

sad day. the box has semi gone over to the dark side.
obviously the contrast wont be as bad when the grass is alive but still. they couldnt keep the grass in foul territory alive due to the overhang or something like that. so they did this.

We did the same exact thing in Starkville this fall to Dudy-Noble
Cohen supposedly wanted it bad and loves how it plays.

Very generous to have Bama in the 6 spot. Their program still has a long way to go before they earn the national respect (i.e. not losing twice to Troy in the regional.) I completely agree with the complete drop off after 5. The top 5 could go either way, but I am a bit iffy about Florida. I know such a young team after the rebuilding year last year but the youngsters will have a lot to prove.

Yes, I can tell
Sad day
If Arkansas can figure out how to have a beautiful grass baseball field, anyone can. It's hard as hell to grow grass up here on rock, which is why our football field is field turf. I'd shite myself if baseball did any field turf.
Condolences sent to the box.

I know, but it will never match perfectly.
You know, for years we had astro turf here. Then we took the infield turf up and only had turf in the outfield. It was such an eyesore viewing it.
No matter how much it may seem to be similar in color, sunlight and stadium lights send a reflection off of it that makes it look different.
I'm disappoint in LSU

No only behind homeplate and down the lines into foul territory.
Our turf and grass dept will have the contrast matched exactly for our season.
