Besides you being the typical white noise Hog poster...your little jab about a title seems pretty irrelevant as you're comparing us to a program that won a title long in the past...which you of course deem irrelevant as you see fit ie baseball.

State has no titles in any sports....that's what makes titles and State talk irrelevant

So you have no argument or real rebuttal, thanks. That's what I expected.

No? Rebuttal looked fine to me.
There is nothing you can say, as State has no national titles to speak of.
Your closest was last year. Which is why State fans believe #2 is the new #1. As shown in this thread. You can't handle any success.

STFU troll. Only an idiot would think UGA's program is on par with State's. A few good seasons compared to a few bad does not a program make.
UGA has a national title.
But yes, they're better than State since 2000

We actually played in the national championship game though

Yea, so? 5-6 other programs have as well in this league

There you go, cherry picking years once again.
Georgia does not have a better baseball program than MSU, period. Having 1 nice run for a few years does not make a program.

They played for a title in two different decades. Won the entire thing once.
Yet, State has just now even played in the championship game.
Look, nobody really cares much about State baseball outside of Starkville and your fan base. It's really hard to worry about a program that only has 4 winning seasons in conference since 2004. Haven't finished better than 3rd in the league since 1989. No conference titles in 25 years nearly.

Google "beat places to watch a college baseball game"
Top four searches all list Dudy Noble #1 or in top 5 in nation. I would say lots of people all around the nation seem to think a lot of us.

No more Katz
But breg is back. Nola is back. Glenn is back. Ibarra. Laird. And a pretty nice freshman class. Looking good boys. Fun test early with a road trip to vandy on the opening week of sec play.

Actually. Come to think of it. A tough sec opener is what threw our season off in 2011. Vandy owns us in the past few years. (Exclude sec champ game)

says you. Most on this board would only put LSU and USC above State in baseball programs.
So Arkansas sucks, is worse than msu, but msu hasn't had a winning record vs Arkansas in the past 5 seasons?
you can't say a team that beats you every year sucks, but ur awesome.
also, most teams start preparing for regionals before the SEC tourney, and playing in the sec tourney actually makes it harder for your opening regional games.
ur SEC ranks have been
09 12th
10 12th
11 6th
12 5th
13 5th
sorry these aren't poster's opinions, these are facts.

quote:Really? Last I checked Arkansas had one of the best stadiums in the country, top 10 recruiting classes annually since DVH was hired, 10 straight tournament appearances, and absolute destruction of MSU any time they meet on the field. Meanwhile, MSU has been struggling to even go .500 in the conference, then brag like they won the national title for just getting there for the first time. Something that is old hat for Arkansas. News flash, what you did in the 70-80's doesn't make you a good baseball program in 2013.
Most on this board would only put LSU and USC above State in baseball programs.

Gawd Damns I've missed this
Can we all just agree that the SEC is home to the best baseball in the country. shite id rather be at State watching a game there from LFL than anything. People outside the south just don't get the whole college baseball scene and to them I say
Also...
STATE STACKKKKKED
EVERYONE FUUUUUUCKED
