How was he still enrolled in school and participating in NFL minicamps? Better get your story straight.

I don’t know if Cole Hutson falls into this, but at this current moment A&M is the only definitive program in active violation of SEC rules.

by your description he is not permitted.

Cole Hutson declared, went undrafted, attended rookie mini camps, but never signed with a team.

From SEC policy as posted on TD home page:

quote:

An SEC institution is not permitted to have an athlete on its roster who has:

1. Previously declared for the NFL, NBA, or WNBA Draft and did not appropriately withdraw;

His name is Bryson Warren.

Texas A&M Basketball Roster

A&M has rostered a pro athlete in direct violation of SEC rules

quote:

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) enacted a policy on August 25, 2026, barring athletes who have signed professional contracts—including NBA Exhibit 10 or two-way deals—from competing on SEC rosters

quote:

Bryson Warren signed professional contracts and played three seasons in the NBA G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce and the Westchester Knicks.

quote:

NBA/Exhibit 10 Deals: He signed Exhibit 10 training camp contracts with NBA organizations, including an Exhibit 10 deal with the New York Knicks in September 2025 after playing previously in the Miami Heat system.

When does the ban hammer happen to A&M?
