Here are all 14 SEC teams listed from the highest winning % to the lowest. This data uses all games played to date.

TEAM (REC)....OPP REC....WIN %
LSU......(6-1).......34-14.......70.8%
TN.......(3-3)........27-13.......67.5%
VAN......(3-4).......30-15.......66.6%
SC.......(3-3)........25-14.......64.1%
ARK.....(1-6).......31-18.......63.2%
A&M.....(5-2).......27-18.......60.0%
FLA.....(6-1)........26-18.......59.0%
KY......(5-1).........22-17.......56.4%
MSU.....(4-2).......22-17.......56.4%
MIZ.....(3-3)........22-17.......56.4%
AUB.....(4-3)........24-21.......53.3%
UGA.....(6-1).......24-21.......53.3%
MIS.....(5-2).......23-24.......48.9%
ALA.....(7-0).......22-24.......47.8%

You can make fun of Coach Orgeron all you want, but he is 6-1 against the toughest schedule (to date) in the nation. Of LSU's 5 remaining opponents, 3 are currently ranked as well (MSU, ALA, & ATM). This is a brutal schedule and O & his staff have been masterful so far.

Pull out the non FBS opponents and recompile. Might get a different outcome.

LSU has played well and beating Georgia was a huge win..........but Auburn and Miami just lost to Tennessee and Virginia. And LSU lost to Florida.

Auburn is 4-3. Miami is about as bad a 5-2 as you'll see. Not sure how much mileage you are expecting out of those 2 wins.

Other than beating UGA, which obviously was huge, yesterday went almost as badly as possible for LSU

I don't know about everyone else, but LSU's one FCS opponent is the only one with a losing record.

TN would rise if that was done. Our schedule is brutal but our cupcakes were the cupcakiest of all.

Unless it's North Dakota State or James Madison, the record of the FCS school shouldn't matter. An FBS power 5 team should overwhelm all FCS teams equally with talent.

How does that work?

OSU being higher than Bama is also a head scratcher.

I'm not expecting anything. I posted some stats as things stand tonight. Period. As far as schedules to date, show me someone who has played a tougher schedule than LSU. I promise you that no one in the SEC has, although A&M is a close second. 3 of the Aggies 7 opponents have 4 or more losses & USC is 3-3. 2 of LSUs have 3 losses, including Auburn.

Ole Miss played a 1AA team, 1-6 MAC team and a 2-4 Sun Belt team already. So bascially 3 Sub-100 teams. That'll drag it down.

OSU being higher than Bama is also a head scratcher.

- Oregon State is 1-5 and one of the 5 worst P5 teams in America
- Rutgers is 1-6 and the worst P5 team in America
- TCU is 3-3
- Tulane is 2-4
- Penn State, their big win, just lost at home to Michigan State and is 4-2
- Indiana is 4-3
- Minnesota is 3-3

Makes sense to me
