WOW. Watching the MSU-UA highlights. How can ANYONE defend the officiating? Good gracious, MSU got royally frickED by some calls in that game!

Would Alabama have won without them? Most likely, but the fumble was bad enough, then the stupid call taking away the TD was AWFUL. He did not even touch him! How dare you try to score on the darling.

That was terrible officiating at every level.

The best part is Bama ended with 0 penalties on top of it

I literally don't know anyone who does.

The officiating in this conference is next-level bad. We don't deny this.

Come on man, how many Alabama fans on here say there is no favoritism from Birmingham? This game is yet more proof that there most certainly is.

I get missing calls here and there on the field, but how can the "booth" not call for the fumble to be reviewed? I'll tell you why, it was CLEARLY a fumble and they would have to give the ball to the other team.

Also, on the TD, the ref who threw the flag was WAY put of position to even make that call. The SEC is becoming harder and harder to take seriously, the bias is real.

I just want to know where all this ref help was I'm 2000-2006. If the SEC was intentionally biased in favor of Bama, why didn't they help more when Bama actually needed it?

Denying that there is favoritism isn't the same thing as defending the officiating.

Thats funny! I watched some of the first half and saw one play where Harris ran up the middle for a FD on a 3rd down and as they were showing the replay Simmons grabbed Harris as he came through the hole but was unable to make the tackle because Piersbacher had Simmons in a rear naked choke hold around the neck... Funny that Danielson did not even notice that in the replay analysis commentary.

Yes it was a fumble and State should have called T/O and challenged.
No it was not a block in the back and State got screwed out of a TD.
But I truly believe it is just incompetence and not conspiracy. You people that despise Bama will believe conspiracy because your blind hatred wants to believe conspiracy.

Deflect from what? I enjoy the crybaby conspiracy theories.
