Interesting that the same group of referees that you and your colleagues have been SCREAMING are paid off by Bama and cheat for us, are now the definitive source for what defines "helmet to helmet".

Out of curiosity, where do you go when you want someone to define "holding" for you?

Go fight your strawman. I have never said that and you can't defend what you wrote because it is patently false, so you tried to shift the ground.

Here's the bottom line, jack, what you wrote was horseshite and is not based on the rule book or practice or precedent. Sour news for ya, I know.

im not sure if your question is rhetorical in nature since for some reason you laughed at your own post or if you wanted me to actually answer that.

You are truly a stupid frick, he should be suspended. Period. It was a dirty shot, he knew it, didn't have to do it, but did it anyway. frick him and the bama fans that think this was ok.

I for one hope Teo Plants Mccryin in the CG and he leaves on a stretcher, he won't because he has to much class, unlike bama players.

What I wrote is that it is not helmet to helmet, and it is not, and until a definitive source specifically says that it is, I don't believe it. By the way, a "definitive source" is not a group of LSU fans with sore vaginas who live only to try to argue with Bama fans. You can watch the bowl games from your swamp and kiss my arse.

I'd also like to add a further rebuttal:

frick you, we're the SEC champs, and you're not. And we are the defending national champs, and you're not.

HA frickING HA. Asswipe.

Funny that you attack because you know you just completely made something up.

I like your posts, but trying to pass off something you literally completely fabricated from the top of your head as authoritative strikes me as terminally intellectually dishonest. Even for a fan message board. Come on, man.

Actually, I'm not really responding to you, it's more the part of the collective LSU fanbase who just keep starting this shite over and over and over.

I honestly don't believe it is helmet to helmet, and I haven't seen anything that says otherwise. I did read two articles which say it was a personal foul, and I can accept that. But the sections quoted didn't indicate anything that would lead anyone to conclude that Dial led with the crown of his helmet.

Understood. If you keep hitting reply to my posts, I'm sure you can understand why I would think you are calling me out.

Also, I'm glad you at least admit that the quoted portion I responded to was completely made up.

I don't know which quoted part you're talking about. If you're talking about my definition of helmet to helmet, then all I am saying is that the crown of his helmet didn't lead...which is my understanding of "helmet to helmet".

HOWEVER, there is a rule that states that you cannot hit a defenseless player above the shoulders, and in that rule it doesn't matter whether you lead with the helmet or forearm or shoulder. I can accept that this rule was violated, though I didn't realize until now that a QB is considered defenseless after an interception.

so, a helmet to helmet hit is NOT a "helmet to helmet" hit?

HOWEVER, it is NOT "helmet to helmet". Anyone who continues to say that he hit Murray with the crown of his helmet needs to calm down and watch the clip. Just because two helmets make contact does not mean it must have been a "helmet to helmet" hit, because you can't hit someone with the crown of your helmet when it is turned sideways.

Then why is Dial's helmet in Murray's ear hole?

There's no excuse anymore, everybody knows what happens to your head after you've taken hits like that your whole life.

What are you going to do for running backs, lineman, linebackers etc who take infinitely more hits to the head than any QB.

Contact to the head is part of the game, that is why they wear helemts.
