Hope the Sooners can keep it competitive. Should be a good one.

Don’t celebrate too much, Bama will still be granted a playoff spot if they beat Auburn.

I saw a news story today that Walgreens and Walmarts in Louisiana are seeing a run on lotion and tissue since Saturday night and shortages are expected. They couldn’t explain why, but we all know why.

I don’t know how it made it to the internet, but here is video from Metry yesterday. Word is they are still at it over 24 hours later, just taking short breaks to hydrate and post on the rant.

Did you also watch the Bama-“L”su replay hoping the Fightin’ Tigers could keep it competitive?

I hope so because dying crops around the world could use some more LSU tears.

LSU-OU has the ingredients to become a damn good conference series. Not gonna call it a rivalry but it can get serious quickly.
Two very proud fan bases, two very invested programs that battle hard on the recruiting trail and the two have some recent history.
Looking forward to this one. Oklahoma fans love ball and are for the most part super friendly and respectful.

I think OU fans are glad that the games will be in BR instead of New Orleans.
Would be surprised if the SEC ends up trying to manufacture a long term season ending rivalry with these two teams. But it might happen by default.

When will they replay the Bama LSU game?

The only thing I hate about it is that it’s Thanksgiving weekend so you’ll never get the same vibe as you would if it were any other week in the season. Most fans and students are gone, tailgating isn’t as big. It’s just not the same.
I don’t see why LSU OU wouldn’t be a season finale going forward unless OU and OSU reinstate bedlam. We seem to be the only two SEC teams without an opponent for “rivalry week”.
The only other thing the SEC can do is swap the Arkansas Mizzou game and rotate it. So this year LSU hosts OU then next year OU hosts Mizzou then Arkansas hosts OU so on. I’d assume Mizzou-OU is more natural than LSU-OU and Arkansas-LSU is more natural than OU-Mizzou. Basically these 4 teams just do a round robin in rivalry week

Yes, this is why it might happen "by default". But I think my point is that OU and LSU are have other long term rivals... so it might take a while to get to "rivalry" status.
OU and Arkansas would be the best match up for those two schools for a Thanksgiving weekend game given the proximity of the two schools but it looks like they are trying to lock in a Missouri Arkansas game that weekend these days.
As far as Bedlam goes... Historically, that game was never really completely locked into Thanksgiving weekend. It kind of bounced around the schedule. So if they renew it I don't think there will be any real push to make it happen on that weekend.

Being that about half of the SEC is already playing OOC games vs instate opponents during this week, I don’t see why bedlam wouldn’t be slated for this week as well. Such a shame they dropped it. Hopefully they aren’t as dumb as tamu and ut. Just play the damn game.
OU fans can throw that all time record in their face all they want but that game means a lot to the state of Oklahoma and it’s tradition. 118 meetings. Red River has 120 meetings. Mizzou-OU has 97 meetings. Records are records. These games must be played.
