I was gonna say "duck," but I got here too late. I started a similar thread in the O-T Board awhile back but the B-Hamers were not on board. The SEC home offices in Birmingham ... MASH HERE

Memphis would be awesome.
-Autozone is very nice, and it's a big enough venue (over 14,000)
-It's right in the middle of downtown and Beale street is fun
-It's a geographically central location

I don't see how anyone could argue that Memphis wouldn't be a great location.

Because memphis is a terrible, crime infested, slum riddled city that nobody would want to go to or feel safe in.

FWIW, I've always heard, from comments CPM has made several times over the yrs, that the league coaches like playing there. Of course, they could care less bout how or if the fans have any negatives to put up with. I don't enjoy, however, looking up at the league office's suite & seeing all those red coated league officers pulling openly for bama. But since bama has not been relevant in the past few yrs, that is not a problem. Just for newness' sake, I would like to see it rotated around several practical cities, however.

That's not what Forbes has to say.

What do you not understand about Trustmark Park being way too small?

Meh, keep it in Mudville, baseball is more of a west thing. Maybe one of the other Mudville's in Tennessee would be okay too if there's a nicer venue there.

Good Lord, I really hope you don't speak the way you write. But I do agree, Memphis would be a much better site. That being said, it's not moving
