Because memphis is a terrible, crime infested, slum riddled city that nobody would want to go to or feel safe in.

Well heck yea it is if you drive to the nutbush, Hickory Hill, or Frayser areas, but not many if any fans will be going there. The area around the ball park is pretty nice at night. I love going downtown and catching a Red Birds game and grabbing some dinner.

They should move it to memphis.

I think they should rotate it between Memphis, NOLA, Hoover, and maybe the Yankees' minor league park in Tampa.

Unless I move somewhere, the SEC should never, ever consider moving the SEC baseball tournament. I can get to Stadium Trace in 10 minutes without getting on a 4 lane road.

King Willie was kind enough to let me use his bunker but I had to participate in his Harlem shake campaign video

It's not in Bham but it should be moved to the new park downtown.

Thought the same thing for quite some time. The Gwinnett Braves facility would be perfect. You'd get strong attendence numbers as well.

There's a very nice minor league stadium in pensacola right on the water. Not sure if that town has enough lodging in order for it to be considered a venue. I was just looking at it as a fun place to go as a fan. That's a fun time of year there and could be even better with a big time college bb tourny.

Actually B'ham (Hoover) is a good place for it. Its central to the SEC and I worked near the ball park for a while and it was always a mad house during the tourney.

Needs to be at Zephyr Field in Kenner.

LSU baseball fans will at least fill the stadium and New Orleans tourist stuff is just a few miles away for everybody else.
