Davis Riley is arguably Alabama's best player, and he's not doing well today. 2 over on Par 3s and 4s. Shore is understandable as a freshman, but Alabama will only go as far as Riley and Hodges takes them.
Gagne for LSU is doing well. Started on the back 9, and shot a 32.

UGA +12 on a course in GA.
Yikes.

Yeah they've got 3 players that are at least 4 over par. Not looking good for them.
Florida wouldn't be doing so bad if they didn't have a guy that is +11. Holy shite

It's Sea Island.
Not like they're playing a local track in Fulton County

Thornberry is probably the best player out there, but the rest of our squad is mediocre at best. I’ll be surprised if we advance

12 shots over 36 more holes, among a 4 man team is nothing to make up. All they want to do is make match-play on the weekend

They drop the worst of the five. Alabama's got a kid with +7, so he's got the claim for that.
LSU has the kid with the best day so far (-3). Dang shame he's got two +7s to try and lift up.

That's not far rom the top 3 scoring averages for the SEC this year
Thornberry is 3rd and I think Buckley is 2nd. All under 70 for the year, which is dang skrong

Shore for Bama is a Knoxville kid who was a top 5 amateur in the country coming in to the year although he’s struggled as a frosh. Believe he was the number 1 HS player in the country coming in.
Played with him in a scramble last summer. He will be special. Really talented kid but nobody will outwork him.

Well, he moved up when the #1 am turned pro, last week I think.
He's 3rd in the SEC in scoring average though. Nothing wrong with that and that doesn't determine anything. I had a buddy who finished 2nd in the league and didn't even make All SEC
