I’m not saying other teams haven’t had a better year but based on preseason expectations, Buzz Williams has far exceeded the expectations of any coach in the league. Am I wrong, if so post who has exceeded their expectations? He has done the best coaching job in the league and it really isn’t even close

Hard to argue a guy for COY who sucked terribly OOC. Nice recovery so far in conference play but 6-6 OOC is plain bad and cant be ignored. Plus not an easy schedule for A&M to close out. 8-10 could happen.

Oats deserves convo. Top 3 offense in the country.

Auburn was picked 4th.

A&M was 12th and currently sits tied in 5th. He has one of the least talented rosters and it got worse after the conference was picked.

He didn’t suck horribly during OOC games, he was still implanting his plan, his style. In the end, don’t care if he wins the title of COY, just can’t wait for next year because there isn’t a team in this league that has improved this much in a short period of time like the Aggies have under Buzz. If you don’t agree with that, you are lying to yourself

Literally had the worst OOC record of any SEC team this year, and that included losses to Harvard, Temple and Fairfield. Sorry just lost too much early on. Probably losing a lot from here on out too.

I’m guessing you don’t understand coaching, you point to OOC record, I point to building blocks, he had to build this team up. By your metric I guess we can assume the SEC sucks balls based on the Aggies OOC record, and their in conference record right?

I'm guessing you dont understand a coach of the year generally doesnt have the worst performance of any team in OOC play. You're judged by wins and losses, not implementing sh*t. You cant throw out a third of the schedule just because you want to.

Thunderbird, I’d bet a paycheck that next year, my Aggies make the dance. If you believe so little in what Buzz has accomplished, should be an easy bet for you. Im paid biweekly, so the bet is around $3k

Next year isnt looking too hot without Nebo, but not sure what that to do with saying a guy who went 6-6 on an easy OOC should be in contention for coach of the year this year. That's pretty hard to overlook, especially if you only finish like 9-9 or 8-10 in conference play and dont even have a winning record overall either.

I could care less, the thread is about coach of the year this season, why should a guy who may not even finish with a winning overall record be considered? Because you have a personal good feeling about next season? Let's try and stay on topic.
