Y’all have an all-time losing history. The Mullen years don’t change that.

Arkansas is a tier one basketball job in the SEC. Easily. No idea why you put us at tier 2.

In your scenario, Arkansas is at least a tier 3 job. Arkansas is a top 25 all-time program with more all-time wins than those schools you listed in tier 3.

In what way are people like you listing Arkansas so low? There’s no logic behind it.

“ Honestly, I wouldn't consider Bama a natural tier 1 job, I would put them in tier 2. They don't have any natural recruiting advantages over LSU or UGA. Bama only gets tier 1 due to their history of lucking up with the 2 greatest coaches of all time.”

You serious Clark? Bama is not only tier one in the SEC, they are tier one nationally! In the stratosphere of Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and USC. Historically dominate programs and legendary coaches. They recruit nationally.

That is the problem with these "best job" lists and opinions.

How much do you include history into the mix vs. the current situation.

Tier 5: Vanderbilt

Maybe I have recency bias with Arkansas. South Carolina with Spurrier and Arkansas with Petrino seemed similar but you can fairly argue both Arkansas and USC have more football potential than Kentucky (even though South Carolina was historically terrible).

Missouri having inroads to the KC, STL, and Illinois talent plus their relative success since joining the SEC colored my rating. The Mississippi schools have tremendous in state talent per capita but are just small population and split it between the two big state schools. You might be right that Arkansas belongs in that tier.

It seems debatable. Arkansas is obviously close to Texas football talent but have to compete as outsiders versus a lot of in state schools plus Oklahoma to the north and LSU to the east.

Get over it. History from 40 years ago means nothing.

Your university and boosters are not serious about football.

It’s not that they’re not serious about it. It’s that they’re cheap about it. Aggie fans should feel lucky to have rich boosters willing to blow tens of millions of dollars.

Seems like there could be a difference between stated and revealed priorities.
